What PC games are you playing?

Dawn of War II remastered, and just complete Xcom II which I picked up cheap. (way to hard at the start of the game then turns in easy mode, really could do with Xcom III now)
Try “long war of the chosen” mod if you loved Xcom 2. It adds so much more depth to the game, basically building the entire resistance operation. Expect 150-200 mission campaign.

I’d love a remaster of the original DoW game, 2 & 3 were good but I truely loved 1 and building up my resources/army to crush my enemies.
I've still got Dawn of War III Iinstalled on my PC. Not been back to it in a while.

The original was fantastic, I'd love a modern remake or remaster, like the recent Age of Mytholgy one.

Getting going with Farming Simulator 25. Been a few years since I played FS17 and never bothered with 19 or 22, so thought I'd give this a shot.

Ran through the tutorial last night which went okay once I sorted out a camera glitch which appeared to be related to the throttle on my flight stick, which I'm not even using in the game. A lot is very similar to the earlier version but there are some new crops and animals plus it looks like a bit more in the way of production chains - so long as they haven't turned it into a PC version of the Hay Day tablet game. So about to take a deeper dive shortly, assemble some more equipment as the starting loadout is fairly poor - couple of tractors, cultivater, sower and combine harvester (Oooh Argh, ooh argh ray). Need a baler, fertiliser spreader, weeder and a water tanker to supply the animal paddocks.

As someone into racing sims, flight sims, trick simulator, snowrunner etc ive never considered farming sim despite being surrounded by farmland and farmers :P
I have one i got free with epic i think plus some on game pass, would you recommend them?
Might try one of the ones i have access to for a sample to see if i might like FS25.

Im playing Lies of P. I like souls games but held off playing this up until recently as Im not a fan of parrying, and you definitely need to parry in this game.
Its a good game, ive got pretty much to the end of it now, 2 or 3 bosses left i think but im starting to get burned out on the boss fights. Ive refused to use spectres or any cheesing methods, but to be honest I might just look at guides on how to beat the bosses ive got left as the thought of spending hours dying to them is just not at all appealing at this stage.

We've gone back to WoW after playing ESO for 8 months. Also currerntly dipped our feet back into Enshrouded with the new update, which we are loving.
While Mrs is busy, I'm back in Valheim building stuff, which is far more addictive than it should be.
We also installed Throne and Liberty to test out at some point.

Only played about four hours (beyond the refund window unfortunately) but after my initial enthusiasm have started to drift off a bit. It does not seem a massive update from the last version I played which was FS17. Graphically it looks dated and cartoony compared to the likes of Snowrunner, yet manages to run worse on my PC than the latter.

Gameplay is pretty much the same as before - you start off with a small farm and a handful of equipment and have to try and grow your empire. However at times it just feels unpolished and more like an early beta they had to rush out. AI traffic is laughable, no collision avoidance or a vehicle overtakes your tractor but then stops dead in the opposite lane. Vehicle handling is slightly better going forwards and at last has some sensation of weight and inertia but trying to go in reverse with equipment attached imstantly jackknifes and then your tractor does a kind of sideways skid across the terrain.

Early game to grow your money quickly, in previous versions you did contracts for other NPC farmers. However many of these jobs pay less than the cost of hiring the equipment which at that point in the game you don't own.

So in all sincerity I can't recommend spending £42 (Steam) on this, as said it doesn't feel like a AAA game and IMHO should have retailed for no more than £25.

the saving grace might be if/when it starts to see mod maps appear particularly those based on real world locations. But for now I would recommend waiting until next year when it starts to go on sale for 40 or 50% off.

Lego Horizon Adventures, good fun, a nice quirky/funny version of HZD so far.

Performance is pants though, average of 53FPS at 4K with a 7900XTX for a lego game is terrible.

I picked up Hogwarts Legacy for £14 a month ago and really enjoying it. It's a bit more linear that Skyrim but there are plenty of things to find and do on the map. The combat is quite fun I just struggle with finding comfortable key bindings. But it is a beautiful game and has kept me very entertained for a while now, not holding out huge hope on replay-ability but for £14 I can't complain.

I have been really enjoying Dune online FFA, but the player base has died. Legion2 TD has really filled the gap and games only taking 30mins I am quickly hooked. I can highly recommend if anyone hasnt tried it. I think there is a free weekend starting.

Decided to give Generation Zero a whlrl whilst waiting for Stalker 2 to come out on GP.

It's surprisingly good so far - a few hours in.

It's pretty tense, the enemies are really tough when you start out, and I'm doing lots of sneaking and stealthy scavenging runs to try to find weapons, ammo and resources. The sound design is great, and already some of the machine noises fill me with dread.

It's not a polished AAA game, but great fun so far.

How is it SP? I'd been tempted but assumed Co-Op was a must
For Genration Zero, you mean?

It seems fine. It's pretty difficult, in that several of the tougher enemies I've met can delete my health in a couple of seconds, and I've had a lot of hairy stealth turned to legging it experiences. I think MP toughens it up even more, though, from what I've heard. I don't feel like I'm missing anything by playing solo, and I haven't felt as tense in an FPS for ages!

Half-Life 2: Downfall.

I'm not 100% sure I haven't played this before, but at first glance, it seems like it might be something I've not yet experienced.

Clearly sneaked past my radar all those years ago.
