What PC games are you playing?

Been testing a few games with the new Steam video recording feature. Not flawless by any means but that might be the age of my PC. Have the odd hiccup or five in an hour’s recording.

Mucking about a little in 7 Days to Die, dipping in every so often to Call to Arms Gates of Hell, playing some Metro VR and a touch of God of War Ragnarok....whilst I wait for Luma Island and Stalker 2 on 20th Nov.

I decided to finally plough through Final Fantasy XV just to say I did. The characters, plot and combat are all doing nothing for me, but at least it looks kinda okay at times. It's a pity it never got a DLSS upgrade though, as the anti-aliasing options are dismal. It also has a few visual bugs with newer GPUs that can only be resolved by turning settings down.
Yet another modern FF game I never stuck with, although I found just driving around enjoyable the characters and story were very forgettable.

Ive recently started to work my way back through my long list of unfished games, currently trying to focus on finally finishing Baldur's Gate 3, Red Dead Redemtion 2 and South Park: Fractured but Whole as the main ones.

I have far too many unloved games in my Steam/Epic/GOG/PS5 library that I hope to focus on before jumping on the next new thing

I picked up Fear the Spotlight. It has the look and feel of the old Resident Evil games down to the PS1 wobbly look. It's more about running away though but it does have some old RE puzzles.

Currently just started a play through of Fallout 4 modded. Only ever played it once and that was on release minus any mods. Also never played any of the expansions. Really enjoying it at the moment.

Started playing Halo Infinite after having it downloaded for I don't know how long.

Actually really enjoying the Single Player / Campaign of it when approaching it from a casual, play for an hour then do something else, kind of way. Also runs very nicely maxed out at 4K (no upscaling) on my 12700KF / 7900GRE system. I did initially trying it on Series X but the drop in resolution to maintain 60+ FPS was very noticeable.

Black Ops 6
Xdefiant
Session skate sim

Can't get into Valorant Overwatch 2 or Deadlock probably the ttk on two of them don't suit me, and my aim and situation awareness isn't good enough for Valorant.

Xdefiant and Black Ops 6 I can run around like an idiot and do well

Dawn of War II remastered, and just complete Xcom II which I picked up cheap. (way to hard at the start of the game then turns in easy mode, really could do with Xcom III now)

Didn't know there was a remastered version? I know they did an anniversary update thing but thought that was just giving people DLC.
