What PC games are you playing?

Hitman Absolution: So far its a very good game if not a good Hitman game. I really do miss the open sandbox levels that actually let you play as a cold and ruthless Hitman rather than play through a story with hints of open areas before returning to being an angry bald guy and saving some child because I 'care'.

Still enjoying it but not as the game I was hoping it would be....

At the moment Mirror's Edge. Colours are stunning, the idea of the game is great although a few niggly bits it is rather fun for the cost of a pint in town.

Haven't swore at a game this much since AC:Revelations. ;)

I'm playing Borderlands 2 which is slowly growing on me. Initial impressions weren't particularly good as it seemed basically the same game (look, feel, mechanics) as the original so feels more like an expansion pack than a fully fledged sequel. Kinda weird because normally 'more of a same' is a good thing if I like a game, but having put a lot of hours into BL I guess I was a bit burnt out. The slow pace grates at times (how many hours have I wasted looting after combat or trekking around trying to to find an access path to a waypoint?)... you'd have thought for BL2 there would at the very least be some sort of auto-loot facility when you open a container (at least for items that don't take space in your backpack like cash, ammo, eridium etc).

Finished the entirety of Doom3: BFG edition, and have now started on The Walking Dead.

Great game! Although even on 'high' it's not visually satisfying. With that said it certainly doesn't take away from the awesomeness of the game play itself.

Going to slowly complete one episode at a time, whilst enjoying CSGO/Black Ops alongside.

Currently playing Fable:TLC and need to know if it is going to improve?

I'm about 3-4hrs in and not really feeling it. Didn't get off to the best of starts as I hadn't realised that there were two different types of savegame (since the game only listed Hero Save without any greyed out World Save option) so I did most of my training then "Hero Save" meaning when I reloaded I had to do it all again to regain the weapons I'd earned through getting A+ on the trials etc.

The good vs evil mechanic seems a bit too Black and White (no pun intended) at times e.g. one of the first things I did was find some bloke in Oakdale with his bit on the side, I said I'd keep his secret and that was deemed a 'bad' deed, rather than being a home-wrecker and telling the wife and kids.

I've now done a few quests and they have been pretty boring; escorting traders, defending a farm, killing wasps and so forth. The respawning enemies is getting REALLY tiring too, e.g. I went through this cave complex which was split into loads of sections (Xbox memory limitations I guess), so I'd be in a hallway, kill baddies, take the door to a side chamber, clean that out, go back to the hallway and the enemies are all back again, kill them and move into the larder, clean that out, back into the hallway and quelle surprise it is packed with enemies despite being cleaned out a minute earlier.

Now I can probably live with the game mechanics if the guts of the game i.e. questing and storyline is going to improve but not massively impressed so far.

Sniper Elite V2 (from Steam sales).

Was never going to be a great FPS but the sniping is great fun, pretty good overall, as expected and some really good fun to be had.

Mate I'm the exact same, I bought this game originally when it first came out but couldn't get into it, someone then told me it gets better so ended up buying it on Steam during the sales.
I still can't get into it and keep losing interest once I'm out into the open world.
