What percentage of your wage do put towards motoring?

I hate to think :( running 3 at the moment. Though the Manta and the mk only cost me 700 quid a year in both tax and insurance for the pair, and you can only drive one at a time, so fuel bills aint massive :)
If I hadn't binned the MK at brands last week, the Mondeo would be the most expensive per year by a long way with it being the work banger.

So all in probably about 7%

You earn over 30k a year and are upset about your 50 quid a month petrol bill?

Seriously?

He takes home 20k per annum he earns less than 30k before tax I would have thought, tax and ni is around 22% combined.

I knew I should've read this thread.

Whilst entertaining, I think it's best that personal relations and events don't get drawn into the forums.

Guys, drop it now otherwise the thread will be closed.

OT: I spent around 15% of my wage on motoring on essential things (petrol, tax, servicing) but probably a lot more if i factor in non essential stuff, like mods, RR days etc.

I feel like I've missed out on a lot in this thread, judging by the amount of deleted replies.

4.5% of my monthly wage.

Was a vast amount more with my EP3, am glad it is sold!

Why delete all of the messages of Support for Alexisonfire?

This... keeping the thread tidy should mean the rant should be deleted as well IMO.

OT: Quite surprised at the percentage some people spend, but if it's what floats your boat, that's cool. :)
