What Retro Games Are You Currently Playing?

i've just completed Zelda - A link to the past (on Switch)
what a great bloody game, forgot i was playing a 30 odd year old game. i was a massive SNES fanboy back in the day but this game would never have appealed to me back then so never it played it first time round. finally glad to play it
great to see zeldas origins and what they built on and the things they have kept to this day

Making my way through some classic capcom side scrolling beat-em-ups. Final Fight, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Punisher, Armored Warriors and Knights of the Round. Also not by Capcom, but Undercover Cops because I like the mechanic of pulling the steel girders out of the ground to smack people with.

Finally finished the translated version of Code Veronica X on Dreamcast. Graphically, I prefer the Dreamcast version to PS2. Easily the second best Resident Evil game.

Dino Crisis next :).

I still haven't got round to Dino Crisis (too scared haha). I finished the Silent Hill 2 remake earlier this week and decided to play through 'Born From a Wish' scenario on the PS2 version of SH2. Great little addition and adds to the story, but I am shocked how short it actually was.

I am starting Silent Hill 3 tonight :).

Some really good ideas here for future games to play. :) I'm just going through Twighlight Princess HD again on the Wii U. I'm guessing this still counts as retro with the original game being just shy of 18 years old now :D

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Recently aquired a big box copy for the Amiga, but I also have it on Steam (to get the voice acting). Forgot how much humour is in it :D

Had initially attempted to replay Monkey Island 1 & 2, but felt I needed a change.

had a go at Demons Crest (SNES emulator on Switch)
i was a wiz at Super Ghouls N Ghosts and was vaguely aware of this spin off but never played it. i think it would have been a hard one without the infinite continues. did anyone play it when back when?
i completed most of it but had to draw the line at the dark demon final boss , complete 'bullet hell' that would have had me breaking the controller off the wall in my youth :o

Just yesterdsy finished Luigi's Mansion on gamecube via the WiiU in vWiii mode. It bugged me the graphics probably weren't as good as they could be vs a Wii with component cables, but it worked well.

That last King Boo was really hard and took me about 9 attempts before I could finish the game! It's quite creepy for a Nintendo game as well with heads popping off and ghosts trying to strangle you!
