What should I do? (ex-boyfriend problem...again)

oh yes there are women like that too, hence why ive been with the missus 5 months and still not doing it.

My point is, in todays world, you need to be careful who you give your body too.

Has this forum gone back to the 1950's?

we could only wish it was the 50's, back then, a situation like this would probably not of existed.

So what's the difference between not having sex with her this month, but having sex with her next month?

What's that done, apart from deny yourself sex?

After 5 months, you should know yourself if you trust your girlfriend enough not to just sleep with you and run off.

Just because you've been dating 1/2 a year, doesn't mean she's less likely to hump 'n' dump you.

because i certaintly wouldnt hang around if a bird gave it out when i hardly knew her. You need to develop respect and emotional satisfaction from someone you want to be with long term, sleeping with them promptly will certainly not help that, i know i havent respected girls who gave it out easily.

but do you not see my point, time builds bonds. Its different from people to people, i have my rules, people have theirs.

Why?

If she's up for bumping uglies, and so is the guy, and they're both acting out of their own free will then whats the problem? Does it matter if they've known each other 10 minutes or 10 years?

(Providing they're sensible - such as using contraception etc...)

There's a difference between giving it out easily, and just giving it out when it feels right?

I don't believe sex is always a romantic, heavily emotional connection. It can simply be a way for two people in a relationship to relieve their sexual frustration, have fun, and experience pleasure on a physical scale.

Just because people have sex a week or so into their relationship doesn't make them 'easy' and undeserved of respect. They could simply both want sex, and both be comfortable and ready for it.

Very very true. Not really much can be added to that.

Generally I feel that "it" should be a romantic and special feeling, but thre are of course times that sex is just "sex".

yeah you should do it when it feels right, but how many lasting relationships do you know when people have "got it on" in a reasonably short time of knowing each other? i bet its not that high.

Not everyone wants a lasting relationship - sometimes you just want to go out and wake up with an attractive young lady that you never have to see again.

It doesnt make either party immoral.

Depends on what you mean by "lasting".

My last "long term" relationship (or what i'd class as long term), whom I believe was the only girl i've loved, we slept together within a week of meeting.

We were together for 2 years however.
