You can get MUCH better phones than MX500 for money! They are quite poor really - plus they dont stay in ears well.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro's. They're not the sleekest looking set of cans, but by god they sound good. I spent about a month re-listening to my music again just because they were mint!

i use px100s when on the move. good enough for me but no doubt someone will tell how better i could have spent my 30 squids....

Gaming, Music and Moives i use a pair of Beyerdynamic DTX900's and for my Sony Walkman i use some aging and well used Shure E2c's, i need some new Shures because of the state the ones i have are in after 2 years heavy use, but they still sound as good as ever, they just get better with age.

westone UM2s for my ipod, really superb, much nicer sound than the shure's i used to have and a much thinner cable makes them more comfortable to wear
