I think you're confused over the differences between civilians and combatants.

i'm all for people taking responsibility for their own actions but sometimes you just have to look at a situation and think or ask yourself, was there another influence at work here that caused/causes this person to act or behave this way and in this instance i think there is. to my mind there's no way a 15 year old girl freely makes her way to Syria for the craic of it or to set up home in the glorious caliphate. it just doesn't make sense.

what she says in interview i'd be taking with a pretty sizeable pinch of salt for 2 reasons.........firstly, years of brainwashing isn't going to simply evaporate over the course of a few days or weeks. secondly, if she has even half a brain cell kicking about inside her head she's not going to go on record to say the whole thing was a total cluster**** of an idea and that isis are a bunch of 'insert expletive of choice' - no one who has any hopes of remaining above soil for the foreseeable future is going to completely denounce them while living in a refugee camp. that's one sure fire way to get your throat cut during the night. i don't think anyone should look at her recent interviews and go, yup, jihadi wannabe from birth. if i was holed up in that camp right now, in the interests of maintaining my relative well being i'd be whistling the isis national anthem :p
 
We don't need to "do" anything. She's not our problem anymore imo. Let nature take it's course. If she gets let back in, she'll need a new identity and will be on the state payroll for life, sprogs and all
