What TV shows are you currently watching

Jack Ryan season 3. enjoyable if you dont think about it too hard.
Watched this but very by the numbers and typical jingoistic Team America/World Police feel to it. You know that none of the main characters is in real peril and the final episode was pretty much a rework of Hunt For Red October. Worth a stream, but won't be looking to buy any disc version.

It's 8.7 on IMDb, 85% on Rotten Tomatoes, been renewed into 5 seasons and spawned 2 spinoffs.....how popular are you wanting it to be?
Evidently, a bit more popular.

The show is several years old yet barely and friends or family have watched it or know if it's existence, I only found about it's existence a few months ago when we get paramount+ for free, I've never seen any adverts for it or anything similar.

Perhaps it is huge but it's only just come onto my radar

Search Yellowstone in this thread and there are 4 pages of results, going back to 2018! Most posts are people saying it's amazing too...

It's good, but personally, I think it's a little overrated being cheesy and convenient at times. 1883 wasn't so good, but we also have 1923, which I've just realised might have aired its first few episodes, which has another amazing cast.

Just started The Crown and not sure that i really like it.
Would like to find something more adventurous for streaming after installing this tivimate iptv player.
Any good recommendations? Something with a lot of seasons maybe?

I've had Mr Inbetween recommended to me from various people over the years but always forgot to follow up on recommendations. Browsing D+ the other night and noticed it was there and quite short episodes so decided to give it a go as wife was putting our son to bed.

Watched 4 episodes so far and all I can say is what a great little show - basically a low key Australian crime/dramedy with a solid anti-hero.

Rated as 8.6/10 on IMDB which seems a little high from what i've seen so far but an 7.5/10 rating is about right.

Threw me seeing Dewey Crowe from Justified, had no idea he was Australian.
Thanks S1 trailer looks good will take a look

Method of a Serial Killer which I recorded from Pick about Israel Keyes.

I've never heard of him before but I wonder if he was some of the inspiration for Dexter, because he had a "Kill kit".

A kill kit which he hid in various parts of America so he didn't have to take guns/knives etc, through airports and so on.

Fascinating and disturbing listening to some of the recorded FBI interviews, and hearing him laugh about killing people and generally just being so blasé about it all.

Kaleidoscope new heist series on Netflix where episodes are in randomised order apart from the finale, finding it very boring so far.
I've got 3 episodes left. It's an average story with a new gimmick. Like the Baldersnatch thing they did a few years ago. Nice idea but just a one off novelty for Netflix to blow millions on!

Watching episodes in a non fixed order is not gonna be the next big thing, imho.

just finished The ******* Son & The Devil Himself on netflix, its better than it has any right to be, plot holes, plot drivers and modern audience pleasing scenes, but i rather enjoyed it, coming off the back of His Dark Materials, it was quite nice to just switch off the brain and enjoy a series.

Started His Dark Materials from the beginning as it's been a couple of years since season 2 - I'm going to watch two episodes a night so that's me sorted for the next eleven days :)
