What TV shows are you currently watching

Just finished ZeroZeroZero - 6/10 not really inspred by it at all.

Before that I watched all seasons of Gomorrah - 9/10 awesome. Last episode felt rushed, but I guessed they wanted to "finish" the show when it was cancelled.

It's phenomenally written throughout, has consistent characterisation and development and never gets too over the top. It flies in the face of slickly produced procedural crime dramas and nothing is ever neatly wrapped up, just like in reality.

The anti-hero Ray is delightfully simple and complex at the same time - he has a strict life ruleset he rarely every deviates from. He shows love and compassion to those he cares for and switches off emotion for his criminal life in an instant.

It has one of the most satisfying endings to a TV show i've seen - effective, tense and complete, shame it only ran 3 seasons.

There is going to be a wide open gaping hole that will be hard to fill now this has ended. :(

Thanks have never heard of this series before but really enjoying it am just into season 2 . Shame how quick the 25min episodes fly by am watching a maximum of 2 at a time. Almost seems like the cinematics are from the 1990's & Yes very well written!
One scene in particular last episode of Season 1 Ray lets his kidnapper go and even gives him his gun back. Wow that was so very well done ...am still reeling from that a few days after watching :cool:
 
Recently binged Treason. Thought it was rather good

The Rig was disappointing. Looked promising from the trailer and first 2 eps

Without Sin was good. Keeps you hooked throughout trying to work out who is potentially lying etc

Also finally watched The Inside Man. Thought that was really good. Mental how the story goes lol

Looking for another thriller type series to get into now

Glad you liked The Inside Man and yes, it certainly was mental but in the best way!
 
Finished The Old Man last night. After a promising start it just got more and more boring. I always enjoy watching John Lithgow in serious roles, however.
 
Started Alchemy of Souls over the weekend, nearly at the end of s1. For a KDrama I didn't have much hope I'd enjoy it but it grabbed me after the first episode ended with where it's set and the characters.
 
Blacklist Season 8. It's got a bit silly but still enjoyable.

Yellowstone Season 1. Loving it so far (3 episodes in). Makes me want to pack up work and open a raunch haha!

Went back and watched some more episodes after discovering this last year, finished up to season 2 which was quite enjoyable but some of it seems so far fetched it's kind of distracting. Reminds me a bit of Sons of Anarchy, which I wasn't really a fan of so don't think I'll put any more time into it.

Slow Horses

Brilliant so far, big fan of Gary Oldman and he makes this for me.
