Thanks S1 trailer looks good will take a look
I finished the 3rd and final season of Mr Inbetween a few nights back and now after having seen the entire thing, i'd put it in my top 10 TV shows.

It's phenomenally written throughout, has consistent characterisation and development and never gets too over the top. It flies in the face of slickly produced procedural crime dramas and nothing is ever neatly wrapped up, just like in reality.

The anti-hero Ray is delightfully simple and complex at the same time - he has a strict life ruleset he rarely every deviates from. He shows love and compassion to those he cares for and switches off emotion for his criminal life in an instant.

It has one of the most satisfying endings to a TV show i've seen - effective, tense and complete, shame it only ran 3 seasons.

There is going to be a wide open gaping hole that will be hard to fill now this has ended. :(

Lilyhammer

A Mafia Don moves to Norway as part of a witness protection plan; plot is absurd. It's daft. Finished S1 and yet, intrigued to watch S2 to see where it goes!

Money Heist (La Casa De Papel) - Finished what Netflix says is the first two seasons (My app has them all as extra episodes as S1 is only 15 eps and S2 is what Netflix has as S3...) Fantastic TV. Loved it. Right now I would move it into my Top 10. Let's hope the following seasons can maintain the level.

It originally aired in Spain. When Netflix bought the rights to it they chopped it up into shorter episodes. That's why some end abruptly, and others the true episode ending is actually in the middle of a Netflix episode. Stuff like this happens all the time with foreign shows for some reason.

This starts off really well then quickly deteriorates. It's like he tried to put Silvio out in the middle of nowhere.

Just started season 4 of Yellowstone. Incredible start to the season. Easily my favourite TV show at the moment, haven't watched something that I can easily binge like this in ages

Watched the 4 part drama on ITV X about Litvinenko with David Tennant.

He is a great actor but I'm afraid I found the whole thing dragged for me and I lost interest in it. Felt really guilty because it must have been awful to discover you have been poisoned and are going to die.

there's a mr inbetween movie kicking about out there too from a few years back. not watched it yet but keep meaning to.

Started watching Manic 2019 the other day. got a few episodes in. picked it up again at ep4 last night and just decided to turn it off.

I'd been avoiding it for years as despite the ratings, I wasn't keen on the look of it. The episodes I did see didn't help. I just don't like the way it is filmed. Don't like the characters (even minor background characters are all weird) and don't like the universe/timeline its set in.

Kaleidoscope new heist series on Netflix where episodes are in randomised order apart from the finale, finding it very boring so far.

Yeah tried to watch it twice and it is just boring the **** out of me unfortunately.

Struggling to find anything which is gripping me TV show wise at the moment. A lot of the newer stuff even if decent enough just aren't original enough to hold my interest having seen too many similar shows.

Just finished S1 of Stranger Things. Wow that was amazing. Great writing, great direction and the actors smashed it. I really liked how some of the cheap cliches of the various genres were ignored for better writing.
