What TV shows are you currently watching

Just finished ZeroZeroZero - 6/10 not really inspred by it at all.
Just finished this too and yeah, I'm about there too. Was reasonable. Was it always intended to be a mini series?
If you enjoy this, also check out ZeroZeroZero, very similar in style/theme.
It was very similar, the music, the occasional tracking shot behind a car. Obviously the theme of the story.

Finally got round to watching All of Us are Dead. Had a few questionable story moments but overall really enjoyable, very good production quality throughout.

Thought this was a great show, also:

The pre-production of All of Us Are Dead Season 2 has already begun, however, there is no official confirmation on whether filming has started. Fans may have to wait until late 2023 or early 2024 to see the return of the show.

Damn it, I hoped by waiting so long I'd have a shorter wait for season 2 :D At least it wasn't a cliffhanger

On the back of the woke garbage that's Velma, I was recommended to watch Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated from 2010, holy cow how did this pass me by? It's probably the only time in my life I liked anything Scooby-Doo related (didn't like the original show) the in-jokes and self-aware nature made this an absolute hoot and made me laugh out loud so many times. I do recommend anyone to watch at least the first episode and give it a try

I also gave the first 3 episodes of Hello Tomorrow! a go. I loved the world-building, it looked great and the cast were a group of good actors but there's no plot at all, very dull and no spark. I was wanted for some big revelation or plot point to keep watching but it never came. I was expecting to find out that it was all a big scam or something.

The Whistleblowers: Inside the U.N. on the BBC IPlayer.

A really eye opening but appalling insight into some of the horrific things that go on in the U.N.

I'm actually feeling pretty disgusted at the corruption and amount of cover-ups going on.

The Snow Girl on Netflix. Just started and already like it. It is a Spanish tv shows, based on the true story of i am not wrong.
The only annoying thing is that my firestick is buffering from time to time and of course in the most interesting moments.
Just googled it and looks like there is a solution here - https://www.firestickhow.com/stop-buffering-on-firestick.html.
Gonna try it right away and hope the issues will be solved.

I started 'La Riena Del Sur' (Or something like that, 'Queen of the South') for my next 'learning Spanish by watching Netflix shows' as it's quite highly rated on IMDb... but... it's kind of like watching a Spanish soap opera. The terrible audio, strange sound effects and questionable acting. Not what I'm used to after Money Heist. 3 eps in, but I might give it a miss. Anyone else watched it?
I've moved onto Sky Rojo instead. 30 mins each ep, only 3 seasons of 8 eps, so already just starting S2. I thought I'd heard good things about it, I thought I'd read it was by the same people as Money Heist, but not sure. I see now it's only 6.6 on IMDb, which is perhaps about right so far. It's a little silly, but maybe kinda fun. Definitely NSFW though.

I'm on maybe a 3rd or 4th watch through of The Shield - around 5 episodes into season 1 and utterly glued to it despite knowing all that's coming. I think it gets unfairly overshadowed by The Wire and understand why as TW is so well made. However if I were to name my favourite crime/cop shows of all time, i'm likely to name The Shield and Southland above The Wire.

A Spy Among Friends, it's about Kim Philby and Nicholas Elliot, it's very good, that's if espionage and slower paced carachter stuff is your thing.

Damian Lewis, Guy Pearce, Anna Maxwell-Martin.

Brilliant show. The quartet of the Strike Team bring so much to the show. I love some of the ambiguity in how some of the story paths go.

I loved the suggestions that Dutch had a dark side.
Vic utterly screwed Ronnie. Still to this day I'm annoyed at how Vic treated the one man that stood by him through everything.

With regards Dutch, not in relation to your spoiler but i'm noticing a lot more on this watch through the quiet mutual respect that starts building between him and Mackie from even the early episodes. They constantly go toe to toe over the seasons but there is a begrudging respect both ways there.

With regards Ronnie, total agreement on your spoiler, actually angry first time I saw that.
