I didn't realise it was by the same writers for Line of Duty.

I thought it was written by someone who grew up in Belfast and who's father apparently kept a gun under their bed.

It gets better IMO and the ending does not disappoint unlike Line of Duty!
 
Just binged through the night agent. If you like your conspiracy theory type shows then it's well worth a watch. I suppose the major difference with this one was they revealed the twist quite early on, rather than the usual leave it to the last episode for a reveal.

It was written by ex-Panorama journalists Adam Patterson and Declan Lawn, who also wrote The Salisbury Poisonings.

I think whoever told you, was thinking of Bloodlands. Which is pretty poor in comparison to line of duty and doesn’t come close to Blue lights.

I think the last one i remember involved everyone having a "rating" in real life, similar to an Uber rating and some woman getting rated down and spiraling out of control. Fairly sure it was absolutely ages ago.
