What TV shows are you currently watching

Just caught up with The Devils Hour (Prime) - didnt expect much from it but was actually pretty decent with some interesting ideas.

Plus they have commissioned a further 2 series to fully finish the story which makes a nice change.

Currently working my way through season 3 of Warrior, really enjoying it, as HBO have picked it up hopefully there will be a fourth season.

Cheers all

Nearly finished rewatch of season 4 of Fringe. I've enjoyed watching it again after so many years.

Started s2 of yellow jackets.

Finished s1 if Lost in Space on Netflix. The kid keeps doing stupid ****. I'll try the 1st episode of s2 and see if it improves.

Just finished watching The Walking Dead S12 and I thought that it was a strong season overall which I really enjoyed. Definitely looking forward to the spin-offs.

I've very much enjoyed "Becoming Elizabeth" but despite good viewing figures in US, its been cancelled. Always the way but the sole season still stands well on its own

Hate when that happens...

These days before I commit to a show I make sure that there are at least 2 seasons and even then popular shows like West World gets cancelled after the 3rd season :(

Its American TV networks and how they work.. they dont think of how they might sell it outside US... Look at the original Star Trek.. cancelled after 3 series and then went to be MASSiVE!

I get that's how it works but still I value my free time and theres nothing worse that committing hours on a show only to have it cancelled midway through.

Watched a few over the last couple of weeks:

Beef - Enjoyed this and looking forward to 3rd season
The Terminal List - Chris Pratt actually does a good job in this one as its not a comedy role. Really enjoyed it.
The Old Man - It was ok. a little bit fillery in the middle.

Currently watching a classic - BSG. Need something for that sci-fi fix after The Expanse (loved this one)

Started watching Twisted Metal. Absolutely loved the game back in the day.

Anthony Mackie isn't as annoying and seems to suit comedy quite well.

The Good Place is awesome! Like you say, something you can both watch together. Also as the series goes on, there's twists, turns and a GOOD (not woke) message in the show.

It's also lol funny and as you say, Kristen Bell is fit.

Yea finished it.

I'm glad they decided to end it and not drag it on, I didn't enjoy the last season as much, particularly the start of it with the experiment I thought some of the characters introduced were very annoying.

That being said the very last few episodes were really good, considering it was very light-hearted all the way through, I thought there were some really deep messages that were not so obvious, whilst still being casual on the face of it.

The Mrs thought it ended badly, but I really liked how they ended it. Maybe it went over her head, either that or I was reading too much into it.

So yes, average I thought overall, but worth the investment for how it all finished.

Ah, shame you only thought it average :( And yeah, i thought it was a decent ending, it caused a discussion between me and the Mrs as we both had different interpretations.

The outtakes are worth a watch too.

Started Painkiller last night, first episode. I kind of know the story after watching the superb Dopesick. Good so far.
