Forever Rick & Morty!

That and Bojack Horseman are my absolute favourite 'adult' animations (after Archer went down the toilet)

I've been meaning to give Archer a go for ages. Is it serious, or a full-on comedy

As for Rick and Morty, I watched some again the other day...I know there was a big controversy with it(though I hadn't watched it at the time), but man, that Szechaun sauce monologue is one of my favourites of all time!

Just tried The 100, because I really dig the setup (love post-apocalyptic/old-tech sci fi). Only watched about 20 minutes of the first episode (was tired), but it's so far looking like a pile of ****. All teen angst.

Does it get better, do i need to just ride out the first episode or two?

Same boat as you, loads of people said how good it was, watched first episode, poorly acted teen angsty nonsense. It's on to a 5th season i believe?

Archer is full on comedy. For me, S1 - 7 were excellent, some top class writing, S8 tried to refresh the series, but never reached the eariler series heights. As for S9, that was dog toffee, a steaming pile of dog toffee.

I think it gets better, some characters stay juvenile, then the monsters and 'grounders' turn up. Then the adults get their turn at being stupid!
I have found way too many series start stupidly and given up only to hear they get better, but there are enough being churned out to not worry about the missed ones. Others go on too long like the walking dead.
Andi.

The first few seasons of Archer of bloody comedy GOLD, hilarious writing and catch-phrases for days, completely wacky too.

Season 6 onwards became weaksauce though :(

New cartoon series on Netflix called Disenchantment, created by Matt Groeing, is a funny one I’ve just started. Laugh out loud funny in places.

We finished The Americans, which was one of the series I've seen for a while with the story coming to a natural seeming conclusion, although the tension was going up a fair bit in the second half of S6.

Currently watching Gotham S4 (I think it is), which is continuing the evolution of various characters and giving explanations for how they interact in the original series/comics etc.
As my brother put it, it's bobbins, but fun bobbins:)

Have been waiting for this for a while. Will get round to it soon.

Just started on S6 of Elementary and still suggest its one of the better shows on TV at the moment. Well written. Good characters. Good plots. Good bit of humour.

Just finished Season 1 of Happy! on Netflix.

If it hadn't been recommended to me by friends I don't think I'd have got past Ep.1, but glad we perservered as it ended up an entertaining show.

Started 12 Monkeys from the beginning last night, I'd made a start on season 4 but decided after a few episodes that it'd be good to see it all through again.

It gets better after episode 2 or 3 if I recall. I thought the same at the start, going to be a boring angst show my wife would enjoy. But then it gets a bit darker and the story starts going. Watched all of it and it's pretty good.

Just finished 'Killing Eve'. Thought it was very good! Villainelle was a very good character. Still watching Colony and Safe on netflix too.

Been binge watching Luke Case S1 for the past week and am now onto S2 as of yesterday. Hugely enjoying the show due to all the character development going on. I find it a lot better than the first season of 'I am the immortal IRON FIST!' :D

I confess I wasn't too pleased with a certain bad guy character dying so early on in Season 1 as he is portrayed by one hell of an actor.

Yeah, after actually finishing the first episode I felt better about it. There's enough there that I think i can stick with it. If I wasn't so into the theme I wouldn't bother, though :D

Finished season 1 of Black Lightning last night, it's not bad but I'm sick and tired of all the rap crap in it. Still got Knightfall to finish off and various seasons of Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones to catch up on.
