Ragnarok season 3.
Can't quite decide if this season is meant to be a comedy or not.
Enjoyed season 1 and 2 but this season... acting is pretty woeful and the plot line is just ridiculous.

Just watched the bit where a random 13 year old kid gets hit in the head by an arrow but apparently "he will be fine"???

And after watching the final episode:

What the heck was that I just watched? You would have thought a series about Ragnarok would end with a big battle (i.e. Ragnarok). Instead we got someone day dreaming the final battle in-between them receiving their school graduation honors. I need to invent time travel so I can tell my three years younger self to not waste my time on this show!

Mr Inbetween finished. Very good, but again, Ray is not a nice person and deserves everything he gets.

Some proper lol moments though, the vajankle and the high school reunion fight was hilarious. Some sad family moments too.

I don't think any of us who praised the series have ever championed Ray, as you say, he isn't a very nice person at all.

However, it's the sheer quality and consistency of the writing and tone that makes it such a good show, nothing ever happens because 'reasons' or to push the story along, it all feels natural and progresses in a realistic manner.

My favourite aspect is how he is in fact, Mr Inbetween, how he slides down the middle of the two worlds he inhabits, as both hitman and family man, how he can change so quickly from vindictive avenger to loving father - one scene soaked in a peadophiles blood, the next, tucking his daughter into bed and kissing her goodnight as if he's done a day in the office.

Really enjoying The Woman in the Wall on BBC, Ruth Wilson is brilliant.
I haven't been watching this but did get a chuckle when I switched over for the 10 o'clock news last night and there was a thing about the BBC Action Line on screen over the credits.

"If you've got a woman in the wall call BBC Action Line. Our advisers are available 24 hours a day." :p :D

I think I just watched the last episode of Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. Really enjoyed it, but not quite sure I understand why they stopped where they did. It felt like 'Let me take you through a bunch of seasons... then, here's an explanation of what happened in the coming seasons'. Was a little odd.

This morning I got a notification saying it had been cancelled, which I guess would explain it. Cut short, not to the original plan. Maybe we would have got all these future seasons. Quite a surprise as it's rated 8.2 on IMDb, which is really very high.
