What TV shows are you currently watching

Power Book IV Force, season 2. Just 2 episodes in but as usual with the Power series, really good. Probably the best of the spin offs
 
Watched one piece on Netflix.
The good:
No woke crap
No gender swapping or race swapping
Decent special effects better than the flash

The bad:
Large amount of story skipped
Much shorter fights compared to anime
Tiny story changes to make it shorter


Overall far better than anything else from anime to live action conversion.
 
Just watched

last of us - 8.5/10

Really good, refreshing take on what could have been another zombie film. Great acting. Great way they built the emotional investment in the characters and the dark sides of thier back stories and how they shape thier decisions.
A few.. That's ridiculous.. Moments. But really good show overall

Flipping awesome this was. If you search for thecouchtripper on youtube you'll find HD upscales of FR&C, amongst other lost gems of UK comedy.

yea its good if you never seen the anime but the anime is deffo worth watching.
the actors do a decent job, and most of all the show is not kiddi-fied, it has all the gore and swearing so well worth the watch.
im waiting to see season 2 i looking forwards to see how real life franky and brook look like.
 
Still making my way through Veep. Just finished S6 and going onto the final season.

I have to say, I really did not like S6 at all. After looking it up afterwards, the original creator/showrunner stepped down and someone else took over around this time, so that makes so much sense why it felt weird compared to the previous seasons.
 
Finished watching Hijack last night. Series starts OK, but then just gets ridiculous. Very questionable acting and unbelievable characters.
 
OK, by end of the episode I had warmed to it.
Very different to what I expected. It started to get super weird at the end,which I like!

Not hindered by the red head! :D

I think the start made me think it was going to be for kids.

Having dwelled on it a few days...

I think it's the only way it could go, they did give us some slight misdirection with Stef but as soon as they were lingering on Sully in the car, it was a given. However it was so abrupt I physically jumped in my seat.

I would have preferred to see Dushane doing life in prison though - I never warmed to his character
