What TV shows are you currently watching

Binged One piece with my lass. At the beginning I wasnt sure about it. By the end end I loved it. I even said to her, I've never seen anything like it, its really strange, half the time I have no idea whats happening but just love it. Just got that special something.

I see the anime fans trashing it on social media and saying they cant watch it and saying how much more epic the real thing is etc.
Actually the general consensus from the manga/anime fans is that it is pretty good, as good as you can get going live action as it cannot be a one-to-one replication of the manage/anime, any noise you are seeing seems to be a loud minority (pretty much all prolific One Piece content creators agree that it is at the very least good).

Just finished justified, which was good and currently watching silo which im liking so far but its too boring for the mrs who keeps falling asleep :D Also watching season 3 of american gods which i do like and it looks amazing but not much really happens.

Just started Deadwood, it's somehow passed me by not sure how.
Tried watching that a few years ago after seeing everyone rave about it. Got about 20 mins into the first episode and switched it off. While I'm sure it's actually a good show, if the only thing the writers can do is script continuous expletives throughout the entire programme (and every subsequent episode if t'internet is anything to go by) then it's not something I care to watch. Clearly not one for me.

I agree about the swearing it's totally OTT, but I'm hoping it fleshes out as the series progresses. We're 3 episodes in now and I think we'll come to love it.

That's what I've heard too.
Looking forward to final episode tonight.
Will it be an 8 or 9 out of 10?

This is why I love Netflix and won't turn to pirating.

No one else funds/hosts/creates high quality animation or niche stuff like this. Not to this degree.

Then next week Castlevania nocturne is out.

Wow people were right when they said One Piece just keep getting better.

Utterly famous and it’s just keeps introducing brilliant characters. Just about to start episode 6.

Milhawk what a ******* Chad

Finished Dear Child on Netflix. Really excellent, kept me wanting more.

I'm really liking a lot of the European shows, not sure if its just me but the acting seems far better than much of the UK efforts.

Just finished final episode of one piece. Loved it. Best thing I've seen in ages. Maybe since arcane.

Can't wait for season 2.
Which is confirmed.

A lot of mentions for this show. I thought there was a dedicated thread, but can't find it.

Never watched/read any manga or anime in my life. Am I even likely to make it past episode 1 considering my normal stuff is Superhero, scifi, crime, thriller, drama mainly?

Possibly.

My normal stuff is fantasy, animation, sci-fi.

I'd class it as
Fun/silly/endearing/emotive/abstract/quirky

First episode nearly put me off.

Started watching The Changeling over the last few weeks and so far it's ramping up the crazy and mystery with every episode while still not revealing much..

I've never read the book, so it's all new and refreshing!

Like others in here Ahsoka and watched the first episode of One Piece. Haven't watched or read it in any other media but from what I've seen so far it doesn't really matter. Willing to give it a chance and decent first episode I thought. Taskmaster also returned Thursday which is a favourite of ours.

I really enjoyed the setting but essentially nothing actually happens throughout the main series so you probably made a good choice.
