What TV shows are you currently watching

Doing a re-watch of Star Wars Rebels. Really really enjoying it. Just watched S2 Ep 17 "The Honourable Ones" I remembered this episode being good from my first watch yers ago and it didn't disspaoint second time around. This is a kids show but there is genuine story telling going on and good script writing. Some of the individual episodes and some of the story arcs are as good as Star Wars gets. Absolutely loving the re-watch.

I also just finished S1 of Luke Cage, very good but all the characters apart from Luke and Shades are bat guano mental. Moved on to Iron Fist which I'm enjoying too. I'm very late to Netflix Marvel TV shows but so far they have been better than nearly all of the Disney Marvel and Star Wars TV shows realeased on D+ with the honourable excpetion of Andor which just was brilliant.

Me and the missus finished off Only Murders in the Building (3 series).
Nice premise but it was pretty dire all told and got worse as it went along. Martin Short was occasionally smirk worthy, Steve Martin wasn't funny at all and you could replace Selena Gomez with a brick wall. The missus liking it says all you need to know about it.

Edit. As it happens we've sadly got two episodes to go...I guess it was just wishful thinking that the pain had stopped :(

Decided to try Ted Lasso after I saw a clip on Instagram and have really got hooked on it. (Considering how much I detest football lol)

Cant think of the actors name but Nathan is brilliant, especially his pep talk :D

Ted Lasso is excellent. I too hate football and was put off it initially. But the football is the backdrop, it's all about the characters - but even the football bits are done well!

You have an emotional roller coaster ahead of you.

Invasion, Apple TV

Quite interesting so far. I'm a few episodes in.
This is a weird one, most of the show is really well made, gripping and can't get enough, then there is a parallel story that sort of lets the rest down and kills any momentum whenever it's switched to. I still rate it well overall however and currently working through S2.

Sweet baby jeebus - 1st ep of Gen V!

I wasn't going to watch this as i thought it would be a cash in and no one can replace Homelander and Butcher. But it isn't about them, although loads of references to the Seven.

Strong opening episode. More of The Boys ie some mental scenes

MAFSUK.

My wife is watching it, so I have to endure it.

It is staggeringly awful, in every possible way. The participants are all very annoying and the "experts" are the worst kind of charlatans.

Not recommended

The Winter King was looking for another similar fix after enjoying The Last Kingdom , 1 epsiode in found it pretty good

after enjoying the boys, Gen V epsisode 1 was really good

Watched the first episode of the new Boiling Point series.

Thought it was fantastic. Very much the same vein as the film was. For anyone who has worked in a high pressure kitchen restaurant environment previously it will feel extremely familiar!

Fair enough...a bit "sensationalised" in that it is all happening at once, but can sympathise with/recognise pretty much all the situations encountered in that film from when I worked in the industry so the individual occurrences don't feel over-egged and does feel genuine.

Will watch the rest with interest!

Just finished the second episode, feels familiar to the movie (which was brilliant). Loving it, even if it is very stressful to watch.
