What TV shows are you currently watching

Having re-engaged Apple TV in readiness for Silo S2, have been watching Bad Sisters. Was sceptical at first but it's a side splitting black comedy/drama with a magnificent Irish sense of humour.

I watched that recently out of boredom it isn't bad but I struggle with the comedy side of it, though there were some hilarious moments, behind a lot of it is actually some quite heavy themes if you stop and think about it.

It is interesting with season 2, not sure if it was the original intention, they've taken some side parts of season 1 and fleshed them out which takes it an interesting direction.

Me and the wife have been watching The Day of the Jackal together. She's new to the story but I've seen the Bruce Willis film many years ago.

We're both enjoying it and have an equal distaste of the MI6 agent, but I think we're meant to and I have my assumptions of what will happen in the coming episodes which could be a twist in the story.

Down, down, down, down, down, down the witches road.

Just finished ep 2 of Agatha All Along - i've stayed out the main thread for fear of spoilers, but enjoying this :)

Game of thrones

Watched it while it was airing (5 years ago!) , not the best quality, having 1 episode at a time and waiting a long time between seasons loosing interest as the years went by.

Decided to rewatch in full 4k HDR goodness for the first time since the last season was aired. I remember the big scenes and big bits of the unfulfiling last season (last few seasons to be fair). But was still a good watch overall. Almost finished season 1 in a day, forgot how great the 1st season was! Nice having a proper TV this time and the highest quality to watch, looks amazing.

Killing Eve.

For me it has the perfect balance as it doesn't hold my attention 100% of the time.

So when I start getting bored of it and my mind drifts, I can happily catch up with all the things I like to read, whilst keeping it on in the background, as when I'm awake I can't bear silence.

That makes it my emotional support noise I guess!

I do enjoy seeing all the actors I recognise and appreciate it definitely has a star quality cast.

When something I watch is excellent, I will give it my 100% attention, and not feel the need to go on my phone to scroll through it.
