What TV shows are you currently watching

just binge watched both seasons of Arcane and was very pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

never played league or know anything of the characters other than Jinx but that didn't matter watching the show.

Good story and well voiced and animated and just a very good show overall.

The Count Of Monte Cristo with Sam Caflin.

Didn't even know this existed. One of my favourite stories but in an 8 episode series which is what the story needed. Very much worth a watch. Well done.

Am looking forward to sitting down and watching this. Have you seen the recent film from the other month? It's very good if you haven't!

Just started back up on Bosch, from the beginning. Now having read about half the books, it could be fun going back through them. Interesting each season is based on a mashup of two or three books.

I tried to binge watch Star Trek Discovery. Good grief, what an awful series.

The lead actress is terrible. Horribly over-dramatic. Why does she whisper all the time?

And the stories are way too emotional. The ship is on fire, the crew are evacuating, yet suddenly stop to spend ten minutes reminiscing and crying about the loss (that's not an actual spoiler). What the hell? They spent more time in tears that any other show I have ever seen. What is going on here? Boo Hoo Trek. Star Wail. I mean, come on. These people are totally unfit for the job. Especially the lead, Michael, who just can't be trusted to follow a single order without going rogue and ****** everything up.

Anyway, I got about half way through season three before I gave up. I couldn't stand another scene of Michaels over the top acting. She was about to burst in to tears again when I switched off - permanently. Honestly, I think I did really well lasting as long as I did.

Star Trek: Feeings.

There are probably only ever about 5 or 6 shows I've stopped watching, Industry is one of them. I think I thought it was just a bit silly and not very entertaining in any way.

Billions I found silly, but at the same time entertaining with very good characters. I was going to try Industry but don't think I will bother now, if it's not up to much then I'm endlesssley going to be saying myself "Not as good as Billions/Succesion" A bit like when I tried that sub par Vikings spin off.

Yeah. She did my head in. Not sure if it was the actress or the writing.
Discovery did indeed just get worse and worse

STD is indeed awful. We bailed halfway through the second episode.

Started Curfew last night just to see how bad it could actually be after reading the synopsis for the show. All men in the UK have a tag and aren't allowed out between 19:00 - 07:00 to make the nights safe for women to be outside but yet someone gets killed and the main detective is adamant it must be a man who did it as there is no way in the world that a women could actually kill another women.

Me and the wife are trying to finish off Yellowstone (currently up to episode 8 of the final series).

Once that's done I need to watch Silo, Dune, Squid Game, Cobra Kai, the Penguin to name just a few!
I've boxed off Yellowstone and the Penguin. I think the wife wants to start Squid Game series 2 next, and I'll be trying to squeeze in episodes of Dune here and there, as the wife won't be interested in watching that!

We finished Sweetpea last week. Thought it was really great actually. Well worth a watch, very enjoyable and very different from other usual police procedural that UK TV churns out *cough*ITV*cough*BBC.

Same production co that did Slow Horses (See Saw), they’re on a roll.
