What TV shows are you currently watching

I work away during the week and I’ve finished Jack Ryan, just started Hanna and The Expanse all on Prime. But I’m also watching a DVD of The Victorian Kitchen Garden, which is a mid eighties history/gardening programme. It’s such a genteel, beautifully made programme. Also just started Preacher.

YOU on Netflix is good and season 2 is coming shortly.

Just finished watching Euphoria on Sky. Quite dark in places but addictive to watch (pardon the pun!) Hoping there will be a season 2

I can't believe The Umbrella Academy isn't on that top 10 list. While it might not be everyone's cup of tea from the synopsis I found it engaging, clever and the acting from some of the main chrarcters brilliant especially klaus and the chemistry between hazel and cha-cha

I want to rewatch it now, anyone know when season 2 will be out?

Yeah it was a big hit with our group, still crops up in conversation from time to time. :D
Same, some of the cartoon was made in the tiny town I lived in in Cornwall.
The general was one of the funniest characters for me, such a dark show, not really quotable in a family friendly forum such as ocuk

Very dark but very funny show :p

Shame the creator died and nobody carried it on :( I'm not sure they would get away with some of the humour nowadays though.

Now im on my pc i can see your signature has him there bouncing along, yeah its too dark for how thing changed recently with acceptability and satire. Although the Black mirror crowd might enjoy it

Talking of Black Mirror, i'm slowly working my way through it in random order.

Watched San Junipero last night, probably one of the best episodes of Black Mirror i've seen along with Fifteen Million Merits and USS Callister.

Loved the movie so started the series of "What We Do In The Shadows"...just as funny as the film, will watch most of this quickly I think.
I actually thought it was better than the film. Very funny.

I've just finished 'Fosse/Verdon' on iPlayer. A limited series biopic on Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon. Nicole Fosse (their daughter) was co-executive producer on it but it doesn't hold back. Sam Rockwell is excellent as always and Michelle Williams also gives a great performance. It's a great piece of TV even if you're not a musicals fan, it does have musical elements of course but it's not a musical in itself, rather a biography of a trounled man and his partner (in life and work).

My first attempt at a custom sig :)

I do quite enjoy black mirror, although the quality does vary a lot from episode to episode.

Finished Glow S3.

Still a good show, but my enjoyment is going down a little each season. I watched S1 two or three times, but doubt I'll ever watch S2 or S3 again. Will definitely tune in if a 4th gets made, though.

Started The Boys. Only managed 20 minutes as it was late, but a breathtaking start with....
that dude's girlfriend
