What watch do you wear?

I ordered one of these after taking inspiration from this - how long did yours take to arrive?

Off on a family holiday in a couple of weeks and thought it's be ideal one to take rather than anything Id be annoyed about getting nicked/smashed. Little 'un finished primary school today so I'll pass it on to him on the last day as his starter automatic watch :)

Sorry I don't read the forum terribly often. Shipping hadn't taken long for mine, you probably have yours already?

Been offered a submariner no date. 2020 40mm. Just before they swapped to 41mm. Never worn but no stickers.
It just pains me to pay waay over retail for it.
Whilst they're called 40mm, I think they are regarded as wearing larger than the supposed 41mm version due to the chonky non-tapering lugs.

I don't like that series personally, whereas the most recent versions have returned to the somewhat more elegant svelte lines of the 5 digits.

If it's priced to you in line with the market then I wouldn't be doing it just because you've been approached. Just because they're hard to buy at retail it doesn't mean you have to grab the opportunity to buy one at a large mark up.

Thats pretty much my current thoughts.
11k is NOT a bargain or a safe bet.

Getting in with the right dealer is a nightmare...
Having to buy several watches just to get into the dealers good books before even getting close to a Rolex seems ridiculous.

Started out by looking at seiko prospex but ended picking this up in the end; discount as nearly new but looked immaculate to me. Not as fancy as some watches on here but I love it so far.

Put a rubber strap on until can get the steel bracelet adjusted. Doubled ended pins...

Hi Guys,

Just found a UK micro brand called "Marlin" and I have to say I really like their latest model, the Grand Marlin Mk4.

I haven't been able to find any feedback or reviews of any of their watches, so trying luck in case one of you might have some experience with the brand.

Thanks

White dial blue hands, a great combo, no bias :D

These are from recent times.

And one of the few (if not the only) photos online where you can see the blue double AR coating on the boxed mineral crystal on the Hamilton:
