I shall take a look, thank you guys. :)

I like the black with coloured trim on the watches, with a metal base. Modern too. I guess I have to get browsing!

Do you try in store, and buy online for cheaper prices?

What's your budget and what kind of look do you like? Contemporary, unconventional, etc?

I like this one:

Bit expensive, but that sort of design. - £300 is the most I want to spend really, I don't have £1000s to spend on a watch. :D

Me too. turned out to be a keeper :D

I am such a skinny guy, with long skinny arms. I have thought about getting a watch that is nice, but I am pretty sure most watches will look absolutely stupid on me?

Anyone here skinny who wears watches and it suits you? - Or is there a certain watch to go for with skinny people so it doesn't look out of place? :p

This is perfect for skinny wrist - it's my day to day work watch. easy to read and doesn't matter if you scratch or bang it.

Hi guys, its my birthday coming up and i think im going to get a new watch, i have a budget of something in the region of £250. I dont really know much about watches and what makes a good or bad one, i want something that will last a good few years with a classic style.

This is the sort of style im after but not the Armani brand

Are Tissot a reliable brand? they have some nice clean styles.

Any pointers are appreciated.

Very similar. CW one has higher water resistance, is cheaper and I would argue is from a more interesting manufacturer. They are both the same case material. Similar spec movements. Pays your money, makes your choice. Both nice.
