What watch do you wear?

I'm finding it hard work wearing a watch after so many years. After a couple of hours I'm finding it a bit annoying on the wrist. I'm hoping I'll gradually get used to it as I do love the thing :)

I'm looking at either a steinhart ocean one with the green bezel, yes its a submariner tribute. But I like it. Looked at the titanium 500. But it seems to mark easily. I'm also tempted by the new Seiko turtle.

Reproduction of an older turtle. But might buy it with the bracelet then use a nato strap on it.

I think I prefer the Steinhart... just. Both are lovely but I do like that Steiny, particularly in green. But one thing to consider is whether a green bezelled watch is as flexible with what you wear as a black, silver or blue one would be?

EDIT: How about a Seiko Black Monster?

Yep.

It was gleaming too, like absolutely spankers new. Even the date window magnification was near spot on and the laser engraved Rolex crown was good along with the inner lugs. Wouldn't have known unless he caved.

I bought a DeepSea fake last year, as a 'demo' watch, it's also almost perfect; the metalwork is splendid, the bracelet is in fact considerably better than my Steiny.
Only thing that gives it away is the quality of the AR coating on the glass, otherwise, it's all good. Pretty amazing really.

I'm glad I bough it, I wouldn't have liked a DeepSea anyway; bought the Planet Ocean instead.

Id seen the monster on a few forums/fb groups etc. Not the sort of style i prefer tbh. The steiny or turtle are more subtle.:)

I'm considering buying a garmin fenix 3 HR as a gps/running/activity/smart watch. Anyone have any experience of similar watches?

Rolex don't have AR coating on their glass, so yeah that would be a give away.

Naah seriously? even on the underside? Haven't inspected a modern Rolex very carefully I have to say, but I'd assume it'd have to be as good as Omega (and the Omega one is /amazing/!)

I don't know why Rolex doesn't use AR coating, no else seems to know either  The only place they use AR coating is under the cyclop.

There can be a lot of glare with the Rolex but you get use to it. The AR coating on my PO was amazing, like there no glass. But it does give off a blue'ish tint.

It might not be 'wearing a watch' just rather the way you're wearing it? Some straps just don't work for me at all, and others just sit beautifully and are hardly noticeable.

What watch is it and what strap is it on?

I thought they did, just only on the underside of the glass?

I think it's a real shame as many Omegas look absolutely brilliant with their not-there glass due to the AR coating.

Props to him for admitting it though and not just trying to bulldozer through it. But props rapidly taken away for wearing a fake in the first place!

Speedmaster. Good point although I've tried both a nato and the metal strap that it came with. I will try a leather too. I am gradually getting used to it now :)

Nice, nice. I've never tried a Nato-type strap as I find the Oyster bracelet perfectly comfortable, but it'll be interesting to see what it's like in the coming summer months.

How adjustable is the bracelet on the Speedy? I sometimes find too much choice in sizing makes me constantly want to change it and find discomfort where there really isn't any, rather than just sticking with one setting!

Steinhart ocean one green ordered last night. At the last minute I was tempted by the red bezel model. But ill wait a while, longine hydro conquest in red will be next.
