What watch do you wear?

Thanks Hades.:)

Unlucky mate, was it badly damaged? So far I've been lucky enough with any I've bought.

Not badly, it had a mark on the left hand side (on the side) just above the one of the buttons and on the 11 o clock position there was a small scratch on the face.

I bought myself a rotary watch. One where you can see the inner workings.
What's people's views on those?

I got one last year too. From what I've read watch enthusiasts aren't particularly keen on them as they have cheap Chinese movements unless its a "Les Originals". I like mine though - I do like watching the bits go round and find it amazing that this keeps time reasonably well, it is difficult to actually tell the time with it though lol.

My F91W strap broke :( Four years isn't bad for a fiver though I suppose. Only bought it on a whim, surprised at how much use I've got out of it. Especially the alarm and stopwatch. Wonder if it'd be worth upgrading to a W59... or even F105W. I'd like the better backlight and confidence to take it swimming but I'm not a huge fan of the blue bits all over the front and the strap looks just the same as the F91W.

After having properly resized the bracelet on the steinhart ocean one. It's still a wee bit iffy fit wise, the lugs/case back are quite flat compared to my other watches. My seiko solar chrono diver has more curved down lugs which tend to hug the wrist better without rolling around. Now the ocean one doesnt roll around from one side of the wrist to the other. But it can be a little off putting.

I do have a skinny wrist though, just over 6" so i do need a few links took out of a bracelet compared to others.

What are your guys thoughts on these? im after a "holiday" watch, so not at all dressy, but still one of the big brands. Something on rubber would perhaps be nice / titanium also. A good depth rating would also be nice, but not top of the list.

Bretling B50 - kinda different, and has some smart functions apparently. Thermo compensated quartz is cool in a geek kinda way.

Blue Pelagos - had one previously and liked it. the splash of colour is nice.

So what am i missing? im not familiar with JLC, maybe Hublot, IWC, AP? Would have to be 2nd hand, but that doesnt put me off.[/QUOTE]

So knock off the Breitling. How about an IWC Aquatimer, thoughts? other options?

Edit : and yes, rocking the stormtrooper'esque g-shock is a nightmare, how it is still white is beyond me . Don't wear it in the garden or around the kids though!
