Thanks Hades.
Unlucky mate, was it badly damaged? So far I've been lucky enough with any I've bought.
Nice, I did pick up my new Bulova but it arrived damaged so took it back
Damn
What model is it then? Accutron II ?
Steinhart ocean one arrived today.

Looks good with the green bezel. :)
Steinhart ocean one green ordered last night. At the last minute I was tempted by the red bezel model. But ill wait a while, longine hydro conquest in red will be next.
I bought myself a rotary watch. One where you can see the inner workings.
What's people's views on those?
Omega do/did a Seamaster 'lady's' variant?
Thanks for the hint -- yes that mini-seamaster looks fun, however it appears to be discontinued... Also it's quartz (but that's less of an issue, apart from the fact it cost a bit more than a quartz watch should...)
What are your guys thoughts on these? im after a "holiday" watch, so not at all dressy, but still one of the big brands. Something on rubber would perhaps be nice / titanium also. A good depth rating would also be nice, but not top of the list.
Bretling B50 - kinda different, and has some smart functions apparently. Thermo compensated quartz is cool in a geek kinda way.
Blue Pelagos - had one previously and liked it. the splash of colour is nice.

So what am i missing? im not familiar with JLC, maybe Hublot, IWC, AP? Would have to be 2nd hand, but that doesnt put me off.[/QUOTE]
So knock off the Breitling. How about an IWC Aquatimer, thoughts? other options?
