What watch do you wear?

Anything with a rubber strap, I tend to wear a Diesel one, or the Hugo (Huco) Boss knock off I bought from Spain

Wearing an expensive watch isn't really my thing, although I do appreciate a nice one!

Please let us know how you feel about it after a bit of use, really on the fence about this watch.

Did a factory reset and sent it back today. Just wasnt feeling the love for it. The health stuff was good but a cheap fitbit will do all that and more. Texts and emails on it were pointless. Found myself using the phone to read them properly, plus replying on the watch was near impossible.

It's the best smartwatch I've used, but after using one for a week, I just think there is actually a need for smart watches. Well not for me anyway.

Anyone have the Steinhart Ocean Titanium 500 Titanium?

I think I might treat myself when it comes back in stock for Christmas. Been wearing the Ocean One for the past 3 years which is great but the movement in this is meant to be even better.

I just noticed the new (possible limited edition) Tudor Pelagos LHD. Made for left handed people with the crown on the 'wrong' side.

It has aged beige 'vintage' coloured hands and indices, Pelagos on the dial is in red and it has a 'roulette' date wheel with the even numbers in red and the odd numbers in black.

I can't decide if i like it more than the standard model.

Had mine since march and still loving it swapped the metal bracelet for the rubber strap.
Only thing tobe aware of is the metal strap is a bit darker than the pics show on the website, its more of a matt gun metal grey.

Still the 5 lines of text on the freak-handed version of that Pelagos :/ Not sure if the out of the box vintage lume is a USP, since existing lume will age to a similar tint over many years of ownership.

yep got one on my wrist now, i did have the ocean red-whatever its called and liked that but this is sooo nice, the strap is a different colour to the watch but the finish is lovely-gun metal i guess is about the closest description. the hands are so easy to read with a quick glance, i find them way better than the merc hands. its a lot lighter on the wrist as well.

Nope that aging was on tritium, super luminova won't age like that

Thanks, can I ask if the bracelet matches the same colour of the watch? I read back at the thread and read that you didn't quite like the bracelet? I have Ocean One and I really like the bracelet, what is the difference between these bracelet apart from materials?

The case is slightly lighter than the strap. The clasp on the bracelet feels a bit cheap to me but i assume its the same on the other ocean ones as well, the bracelet also it feels very light which in my mind light = cheap, but it should be light because its titanium. Its a bit like riding a carbon fibre road bike it feels so light yet how can it be so strong?
Anyway dont let me put you off its a lovely watch i like the fact its an understated grey colour(the shiny bezel is blingy enough) steinhart also offer a money back guarantee as well if you don't like it.

Zoom into the picture of the watch in its box that i posted you can see the difference in case and strap colour there.

Do you have pics with the rubber strap and how much was the strap?

not sure how you got that from my answer:D to say again its a different colour but i love the Ti strap, great on the wrist and a quality to it. if your not used to Ti then it does feel very light and different to steel-if you think heavy means quality don't buy one:eek::D i prefer the colour/finish and weight on the Ti to the steel one

Has anyone used Chrono24? A friend of mine is looking for a watch and I found one listed there. The watch in question is a Eterna-Matic Kontiki Chronograph, he owned one years ago and sold it, he's regretted it ever since but it seems they are rare.

This is the listing http://www.chrono24.co.uk/eternamatic/kontiki-chronograph--id4615150.htm

I used them to buy my used Speedy from a dealer in Italy. Everything was smooth. But you have to remember that chrono24 is just a listing site like eBay.

That's unfortunate. I'm still quite keen on trying one out, i'm assuming you ordered via Samsung?
