Does anyone know if you can negotiate a bit with main jewellers in London?![]()
Please let us know how you feel about it after a bit of use, really on the fence about this watch.
Anyone have the Steinhart Ocean Titanium 500 Titanium?
I think I might treat myself when it comes back in stock for Christmas. Been wearing the Ocean One for the past 3 years which is great but the movement in this is meant to be even better.

yep got one on my wrist now, i did have the ocean red-whatever its called and liked that but this is sooo nice, the strap is a different colour to the watch but the finish is lovely-gun metal i guess is about the closest description. the hands are so easy to read with a quick glance, i find them way better than the merc hands. its a lot lighter on the wrist as well.Anyone have the Steinhart Ocean Titanium 500 Titanium?

Apart from the now dis-continued Omega Seamaster wave dial; does anyone know of any other watches with a wave style dial?
Still the 5 lines of text on the freak-handed version of that Pelagos :/ Not sure if the out of the box vintage lume is a USP, since existing lume will age to a similar tint over many years of ownership.

Had mine since march and still loving it swapped the metal bracelet for the rubber strap.
Only thing tobe aware of is the metal strap is a bit darker than the pics show on the website, its more of a matt gun metal grey.
Thanks, can I ask if the bracelet matches the same colour of the watch? I read back at the thread and read that you didn't quite like the bracelet? I have Ocean One and I really like the bracelet, what is the difference between these bracelet apart from materials?
The case is slightly lighter than the strap. The clasp on the bracelet feels a bit cheap to me but i assume its the same on the other ocean ones as well, the bracelet also it feels very light which in my mind light = cheap, but it should be light because its titanium. Its a bit like riding a carbon fibre road bike it feels so light yet how can it be so strong?
Anyway dont let me put you off its a lovely watch i like the fact its an understated grey colour(the shiny bezel is blingy enough) steinhart also offer a money back guarantee as well if you don't like it.
not sure how you got that from my answerThanks, can I ask if the bracelet matches the same colour of the watch? I read back at the thread and read that you didn't quite like the bracelet? Do you have pics with the rubber strap and how much was the strap?
Has anyone used Chrono24? A friend of mine is looking for a watch and I found one listed there. The watch in question is a Eterna-Matic Kontiki Chronograph, he owned one years ago and sold it, he's regretted it ever since but it seems they are rare.
This is the listing http://www.chrono24.co.uk/eternamatic/kontiki-chronograph--id4615150.htm

Not the best pics but you get the idea.
Did a factory reset and sent it back today. Just wasnt feeling the love for it. The health stuff was good but a cheap fitbit will do all that and more. Texts and emails on it were pointless. Found myself using the phone to read them properly, plus replying on the watch was near impossible.
It's the best smartwatch I've used, but after using one for a week, I just think there is actually a need for smart watches. Well not for me anyway.
