What watch do you wear?

At last I can tell the time without having to put on the reading glasses. This thing is really bright. You could read a book by it at night.

Couldn't resist at the current offer price. Bit of a bargain really.

Why are all watch faces at least 1 cm thick nowadays.

Why don't slimline watch faces exist? It's extremely difficult to get a thick watch tucked under the cuff of your sleeve when you wear shirts.

Awful.

Been looking at Nite watches for a while. You just prompted me to buy two of them. :)

Pleased to be of service

I hope you're not intending wearing both at once. You'll need to hand out sunglasses to people in the same room. Those T100 Tritium tubes are blazing!

Must say I'm quite impressed with the cheap and cheerful movement in the Nite. THose Ronda 515's can be quite accurate. 3 seconds a week I can live with.

What model is that one, Boge? I'm a sucker for lume and this looks perfect.

Hi. It's a Nite Icon 209L T100. Currently on offer at £245 (down from £320)

It sits quite large but those double tubes at 3,6,9 make it really easy to tell the time - especially in the early hours and if you can't see well without your glasses.

Don't think there's anyone else doing this double tube thing. Couldn't find one anyways.

Treated myself to this little beauty. A major step up for me which has been a long time coming. Its a late 90's Tritium 16600 Rolex Sea-Dweller.

Just right for me as a daily wear, very comfortable. Feels substantial but not heavy.

Gorgeous piece. I'd take one of those over my Sub date any day of the week if I could carry it off - love the lack of cyclops.

Can someone recommend a courier or Royal Mail postage type which would have appropriate insurance coverage for over £3k?

Nothing RM does can cover that (max out at 2.5k), but the jeweller I was sending to said you could use your home insurance to top up RM's coverage. I didn't do that (no thank you) so went with UPS. I'm sure FedEx would do so too.

Things like jewellery can be a bit iffy for certain couriers.
