That was the best one you had
It was time for a change of scenery, the Ahoi Atlantik was really nice and the movement finished in pretty awesome German style, I can just imagine what it would have looked like on one of these Barton straps too

I did get slightly annoyed and bored of some things on it which I've mentioned before.
The smudges/water marks on the crystal showing up under any light source bouncing off it due to the heavily layered outside AR coating needed regular wiping because if left to settle you have had to really apply some elbow grease to get the marks shifted.
The lume wasn't great, this is the downside to dark lume pips on a dial, never bright nor long lasting.
A bigger crown would have also been nicer to both look at and grip as I didn't wear it every day so would hand wind it throughout the week.
I'll buy another one if they release a similar styled but updated chronograph as to this day still I've only owned one chrono and that was the first watch I bought, the Tissot PRC-200.
In the meantime I am really liking these pilot watches (never had one!) from Stowa and they also let you customise the dial/movement. They're ETA powered so not cheap, but elaborate decoration and quality seems to be top too. I like the look of the Classic 36:

He goes through watches faster than i go through socks.
I had the NOMOS for about 2 years and buy new socks every month or so as that's my one must have luxury. Both Marloes are never getting sold though. Limited run and uniquely styled with a local story behind each one so for me that means a lot and they have shown quality customer service to me.
Hate you mrk, you always make me spend money. Coniston on order. Which colour strap is that one please? The navy blue elite (or other)?
Thanks
Haha, hope you enjoy it! Yeah the navy blue, on
this page it's the 2nd in from the top, the 3rd has the red underside which I may get also as might match nicely with the red seconds hand dial.
