What watch do you wear?

The Omega NATO straps are really nice, I have one and I've never seen anything third party that comes close.

Another NATO strap shot. Gave the polished bits a wipe over with a cape cod cloth to get rid of some scratches.

Although maybe some do want an all polished watch? :p

FlyGraf featured on UG now, I already knew I'd be buying one regardless as it's 100% perfect for what I like in a combo of field and pilot. The Flieger for the 21st century? perhaps...

I wish people would stop posting all these articles about new and beautiful watches!

I have a few, but keep seeing more that I would love to own. The Yema looks gorgeous!

I'm extremely weary of youtubers declaring something the best value for whatever in a clearly advertised/sponsored video. Looks alright though. Lume application doesn't seem great on the hands, a bit patchy.

TGV would have mentioned it if it was an issue in the flesh, either that or it's a review sample not production sample which is quite common considering they're not even shipping for customer orders yet which makes much more sense. Urban Gentry isn't really just any old youtuber either.

This caught my eye, although my priority is to be selling a few rather than collecting more at the moment

That does look nice, 41mm though. First watch I've seen using the 9039 which has a display back too, nice to see this movement as it's Myota's premium model and can vouch for its accuracy. If you get it you will also notice the rotor's free spinning madness as it winds unidirectional so spins freely the other way round. Some like this, some don't as it's audible and I know how some prefer a movement that is virtually silent... I prefer a bit of audible presence.

He's not going to be a 100% honest because he still wants to be sent watches, as that's his source of income. I still think Sinn make the best instrument watches out of all the smaller independents, but they're not exactly great value.

Actually he's looking at more /normal/ work now as per video a month ago:

He's also one of the more well respected reviewers/watch watch people on youtube. Unlike many others who are typically song and dance, UG is more down to earth/honest and does his research. He's not been wrong with anything as of yet...

Timex have released the T80 series 40th anniversary collaboration with Pac-Man

https://www.timex.co.uk/browse/collections/timex-t80/timex-x-pac-man-t80/

Cheaper than I expected at £69 and great for a bit of nostalgia and once that novelty has worn off just put it back in the box and sell it to a collector in 10+ years time for a pretty penny :p

Check out the alarm tone too @ 3:14:

Marloe have also shown their new chronograph which looks rather stunning in the blue dial crosshatch pattern version:

That Marloe is good looking indeed however seeing the various pictures in their digital magazine I'm a bit concerned by its thickness. Let's wait for the official specs.

It does look a bit thick doesn't it, although I do recall the Morar looked thick in photos too but is sub 13mm so hopefully this is a similar affair.

Pac-Man T80 arrived today. Both silver and gold now out of stock again and I imagine black is running low. The tag on the box says £79 but Timex direct were selling them for £69. As of this evening there are eBay sellers listing them at over £200... I expect these will become quite desirable in years to come given the Pac-Man collaboration and it being the 40th anniversary issue with the 1980s T80 model being the re-issue for this.

The alarm tone is Pac-Man too.

The novelty will likely wear off after a few weeks, but I'll still wear it here and there :p
