What watch do you wear?

I mean as in colour design, it was quite easy to tell a 58 from any other Tudor (or Rolex) whereas now it's not with the new one.
The blue is quite different. I also don't think it could be confused with a smurf or bluesy.

That being said, it's definitely not as clearly different as it was before. I wonder if they did it intentionally to try and position themselves even more as the more available Rolex sports?

On social media their ambassadors are calling it the "people's Rolex" so it does appear to be the new direction.

Hahahahahaha gosh that's just awful

They can only get away with saying that given they're linked companies I guess. Imagine the brand infringement attacks had Invicta said the same.

Rolex is surely the 'people's rolex' ....every builder that's ever stuffed a bit of cash under their bed rather than given it to the taxman has a rolex. Tudor has (with some watches) gone in a more interesting direction and I prefer where they diverge from Rolex. Shame if they go back to poor man's rolex as that should remain rolex!

@SDK^ Very nice looking Grand Seiko.

I am currently looking at getting myself a new watch in addition to my Omega Aqua Terra (Quartz). I am thinking I should get a mechanical watch next and have my eye on the below two.

SPEEDMASTER 38 CO‑AXIAL CHRONOGRAPH 38 MM
SEAMASTER 1948 OMEGA CO‑AXIAL MASTER CHRONOMETER 38 MM

I've got an old Seiko 5 (2013) that in about 8 days this week lost 7 minutes. I've never owned a expensive mechanical watch before so am not sure what to expect! I quite like my quartz for constant accurate time keeping!

I was a little bit disheartened by mine not looking as good as it used to. I decided to give it a polish with autosol metal polish that I had laying around. I masked off all the brushed areas and crystal. Well happy!!

I would like to polish the bracelet but its all brushed. Whats the best method?? I heard you can use scotch bright on it? :O

Great photo.
The guy who does the Bark & Jack Youtube channel has some nice NATO straps, check them out here: https://barkandjack.shop/collections/tubular-nylon

The channel is great too - talks common sense about watches with a very watchable style :)

His latest video of a nice looking Grand Seiko

Raaah love this model, almost went for it a month ago but I couldn't help thinking the asked price was not reasonable for a quartz watch so backed out :o

On a slightly different note, if that could interest anyone I am looking to sell my Baltic Aquascaphe (again all to finance the purchase of a newer model I have in view).

It's not just any old quartz movement though, its a Grand Seiko and it probably does not get any better than that as far as quartz goes, these things are still highly engineered at GS

It definitely is a high quality Quartz watch, I had that debate with myself and from that perspective there is no question about it. Still, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't reasonable to pay £2,000 for it :o
