They didn't say anything. They made a calender and the calender ends on 21/12/12. Many people thought "Wow, how good are these guys are reading the skies with primitve instruments? That's impressive. But look, the sky charts and patterns don't exist past 1.0.0.0.0.0 (December 21st 2012) which means they MUST have thought something would happen on that day? Right?"

And then loads of people started chuck out theories and cashing in. It's a great way to make money.

But the reality is, their calender ended on that date much the same was as you don't own a caleder for 2009 yet. They simply didn't think they'd need to go past that date until nearer the time. That date was to them as January 1st every year is too us.

Ahh i see:)

What does there Calender actually say on it? Is it times and dates predictions and such?

I think they might have over estimated how long they needed there calender for though:p
