What year did you leave school....

2002 when I left 6th form as I stayed on at the same school after year 11. I believe I was listening to Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, KoRn and Linkin Park at that time, however I would pretty much listen to anything as long as it wasn't garage, RnB or drum and bass.
 
Went into 6th form in 1988. Was just getting into music at the time. Favourite were Queen and was dabling into metal. All the kids my age were listening to either pop or the likes of Stones Roses (which I can't stand and still can't). Just me and a mate would listen to Queen, Iron Maiden, Springsteen whilst playing on the Commodore 64.

Ah those were the days..... :cool:
 
2005 is when I finished school at 16 (year 11) and at the time I was heavily into Iron Maiden (my favourite band), Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Judas Priest & a bit of Slayer mainly. 7 years on & I'm still pretty much listening to them bands as often as I did back then :)

I remember during 2004-2005 in my school that there was a huge Metallica & Heavy/thrash metal craze amongst the kids at the time and there were a couple of school bands that often organized small performances consisting of Metallica/Slayer covers during lunchtimes. Great, great times which I miss :)

2006, finished school at 16. At the time I wasn't really into music generally, although appreciated some artists such as Phil Collins and Fleetwood Mac. I was probably listening to Linkin Park around that time, too. I think Meteora was the latest release.
