Whats been the most disappointing game to you?

The Matrix Online MMORPG

Looked as if it might've been great but was filled with bugs and boring missions.

HL2 - Great graphics, great physics. Short, AI was dreadful, linear. Still think HL1 is better!

2142 - if it was a meal I would have thrown it back in the chef's face - just dreadful.

There have been others, but those disapointed the most.

Alpha Centauri probably. In fact, Civ 4 was a big old disappointment to me too, it always feels very remote and uninvolving compared to the previous ones. I'd probably play Civ 3 with Conquests instead...

Mechcommander 2 was kind of crushing as well, but was at least saved slightly by some excellent missions.

Oh, and also every Final Fantasy game without a 7 in the title

Though 8 wasn't bad.
