What's the last album you listened to?

They sound nothing like them:confused: thankfully!!!!

Crazy amalgam of Metal,

The Wildhearts

The Wildhearts

12 bar rock n roll,

The Wildhearts

speed metal etc

The Wildhearts

more killer riffs and tasty guitar licks per song than a lot of bands manage in an entire album.

Definitely The Wildhearts

And that's why I'll be putting your suggestion on my SGS.
Thank you.

Rise against - Endgame 6/10

Been out for a while but only just got a chance to have a proper listen through. Another great album from them I must say, but still not on par with previous albums like:

  • The Sufferer & The Witness
  • Revolutions Per Minute

The stand out track for me has to be

Had the new Staind album delivered last week.

Ive been a fan of theirs since Tormented, and i think they were unfortunate to get lumped in with the Nu-Metal crowd when Break The Cycle came out.

Anyway, pretty good album, heavy chugging riffs which are produced like BTC, but would sound at hom on either of their first 3 albums. Aaron is using screams on this album often, too.

I like it.

Modeselektor - Monkeytown

More vocals than I expected but another great album from them. As usual, but even more so than previous releases, it's impossible to pigeonhole. Has plenty dirty electro, stretched out, glitchy and ethereal vocals, techno, gets a bit funky for a while, and some good chunks of bass.

They always put on a great live set, looking forward to seeing them play some of this new stuff in Decemeber at the WHP. Still one of my best clubbing memories was from the first time I saw them at The Arches, end of the night, lights fully on, place still absolutely rammed, screaming for one more tune, and they make a complete u-turn from their main set and finish with some bassy hip-hop. Place went wild.

Anyway have one of the tracks with Thom Yorke on vocals - This.

Score - 8/10 ?

Listening to Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds. In my top ten albums of all time. EPIC!

Superb album! If you get the chance the musical is well worth seeing.
