What's the last album you listened to?

Ben Howard - Every Kingdom.
Fantastic for chilling out and relaxing to, just what I need after a day at work.

Only found out about his music from watching this...

YES! Haven't bought an album myself for years and the last time I recieved one was Christmas. Think this will be my next Album purchase. God Bless you Danny Macaskill :D.

New York City Live - David Ford

Probably the best English singer song writer I've listened to in years and this live gig recording from New York is brilliant amazing songs, amazing voice, incredible talent!

Middletown EP - Josh Doyle

I know an EP isn't quite an album but the way this guy releases music doesn't produce the traditional album.

He's another fantastic talented British singer song writer although he bases him self out of Nashville these days, former front man of the Dum Dums who has grown into a brilliant writer and has always had a great voice and solid guitar technique.

Kings Of Leon - Youth And Young Manhood.

With them it's all about the law of diminishing returns. Every album they've released has been worse than the previous one, with the last two significantly so.

Last few albums have been:

Primus - Green Naugahyde - Certainly not their best, but some great tunes on there such as 'Jilly's On Smack'.

Dwarves - The Dwarves Are Born Again - Loads of good fun & really like 'Looking Out For Number One'.

Dead Kennedys - Frankenchrist - All good stuff, especially 'Chicken Farm'.

Dread Zeppelin - Un-Led-Ed - 'Immigrant Song' - Great!! :)

Really looking forward to getting the new Jane's Addiction album next week too!

imho, the only Kings of Leon album that was any good :)

Some cracking songs on there.

Heard a track from ed sheeran on the radio last night and i thought it was great, but did think much of him from his first single "the a team" (got overplayed way too much) , so a quick search on spotify and the rest of his album is so much better, and so much of a contrast from the last album ive had on repeat is the latest example album playing in the shadows

Jane's Addiction - The Great Escape Artist.

Finding it hard to get past listening to End To The Lies though, it's bliddy awesome with headphones on and some air guitar!

8/10 so far.

Beady Eye, was torn between them and noel gallaghers new album but from what I've heard of it so far it is no different from he was churning out with Oasis.

Much preferred the Beady Eye album, more my kind of thing.

Oasis are great but I just can't get into Beady Eye at all. However, Noel's HFB is best album of 2011 for me. Love it.
