Whats the most you have won on the lottery?

I was messing... I forgot to post back later as I went to bed. Wondered how long before the detectives come out.:p

Most I won was around £50 on a Saturday draw many moons ago.

Edit I guess I should have added :p or ;) to my other post.

PB don't devaluate

but there's no interest paid on Premium bonds beyond the prize system. if you have £5,000 of premium bonds for ten years, you'll still have £5,000 of premium bonds, and with the exception of the "prizes" that you might have won that's all it will be.
Inflation, however, will have reduced the PPP of that £5,000 by a fair amount.

Assuming that you held every single PB, and thus got every penny of the prize fund, you'd earn 1.5% interest, but because the probability of winning a prize is 1:24,000 per bond, the rates of return are pretty poor.

£2 on a scratch card. I only got that because my aunt bought me 21 scratch cards for my 21st birthday. I would have rather had the £21 to be honest, but bless her for the thought. Aside from that, I've only ever gambled once - on a drunken night in Southampton's Grosvenor casino, where I walked away from the roulette table £30 up. I'm not a gambler.

6 years ago I won £1,231,609 on a Saturday night draw (The jackpot, I think it was shared between 4 other winners). Invested heavily in some things and live of the interest to this day. Having a very good standard of living at the moment.

:D Love to see someone live off interest on a million these days!

£70 on the bonus ball at work........ twice. Funny thing is I don't gamble and was automatically entered into it by Sports & Social club when I started work - guy I sat next to at the time had been there 8 years and never won it.

Me personally - £0. Don't play.

I live in a flat however and one of my neighbours won ~£6million a few years ago. He moved out but still returned to make sure his flat was OK while he had it up for sale. Super jealous looking outside to see him in his ferarris / porsches.

I won £200 many, many years ago on a scratchcard.

I don't bother with the national lottery anymore, instead I play a lottery run by a local charity, the prize fund isn't as big, but it supports the charity, so money well spent in my books.

I won £12 once.

My sisters friend won £72000, he quit is job, bought a big screen tv and did nothing for a whole year but smoked cannabis and go to festivals. He ended up moving back to new zealand where he was from and bought a house and now he is married with children.

Really?

So why, in 2007, were you having to save up enough money to spend £3000 going travelling if you'd won over a MILLION pounds just 2 years prior?

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17818213

Also if you had won over a million pounds in 2005, why, in 2007, did you post asking the forum for advice, feeling you were 'STUCK' in a job at Morrisons supermarket?

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17763383

Why, in 2008, post about how you are 'stuck' in negative equity with your mortgage if you had more than the value of your house in cash?

etc etc.

Did you really win the lottery?

If you 'live off' the interest why did you tell us only a few months ago that you actually work in a fish bar for a living? Thats not living off interest, thats living off employment surely :p

Seriously... What on earth is your problem?

Why do you often feel the need to go to such lengths to discredit someone?

I know Droolinggimp revealed that he was only joking but this isnt the first time I've seen you with your Columbo attire on.

It all leaves me wondering whether or not you have a life.... Whatever floats your boat I guess!

Good On Ya!!!!
