Whats the most you have won on the lottery?

I keep seeing this thread and wanting to go down and buy myself a ticket after work...

edit: just remembered I have £2 from a scratch card in my bag.

I've probably only honestly played the lottery about 5 times, twice had 4 numbers for £101 and £50 (boo.), once had 3 numbers for a tenner.

The first time I ever played it I had the first 4 numbers out, I was rather excited to say the least! I did have 5 numbers once when you used to get a free ticket out of the Sun newspaper, and got £10 for that. £10 for 5 numbers, pfft.

Most I've known someone win is £1,200 for 5 numbers, I'd be pleased with that :)

Really?

So why, in 2007, were you having to save up enough money to spend £3000 going travelling if you'd won over a MILLION pounds just 2 years prior?

Also if you had won over a million pounds in 2005, why, in 2007, did you post asking the forum for advice, feeling you were 'STUCK' in a job at Morrisons supermarket?

Why, in 2008, post about how you are 'stuck' in negative equity with your mortgage if you had more than the value of your house in cash?

etc etc.

Did you really win the lottery?

If you 'live off' the interest why did you tell us only a few months ago that you actually work in a fish bar for a living? Thats not living off interest, thats living off employment surely :p

Reading that just made me chuckle :) good work

£667

This was on the first ever Wednesday lottery, I got the first 5 numbers out and then needed 11 to drop to get the jackpot and 14 dropped, so for a split second I had the right colour ball dropping for the 6 numbers, and I was watching it live

Ended up being a low amount as there were loads of winners - even the jackpot winners "only" ended up with about half a mil each.

Oh and I spent it in about two days lol
