What's your favourite beer?

One of the microbreweries I visited in Munich had the tap directly hooked up to the brewing tank. Unfiltered godlyness.

Majestic, the wine people, tend to sell 12x500ml of it or the Oktoberfest version.

Reminds me of a time when Martin (joint owner of Brewdog) was testing some beer in one of the fermentation vessels. He put a glass up to the wee side tap about 1/3 of the way up the FV and turned it on. Queue the valve coming off in his hand, and beer (which was under pressure) went spurting all over him and the brewing floor. It was like something out of a cartoon, with him looking around anxiously before trying to put his thumb over the hole (which obviously failed, and ended up with more beer going everywhere).
Being good employees, myself and another brewer just stood and laughed at him.

LOL :D

Imagine if that had happened during a brewery tour/demo! :D

I tried Leffe for the first time over the weekend and I really didn't get on with the subtle sweet note. I drank it, but I wouldn't have it again.

A few goodun's which I like include:

Tribute
Hobgoblin
Doombar
Golden Black Sheep
Old Speckled Hen
Proper Job
Admirals Ale

Just to mention a few... :)

Yeah, that wouldn't have gone down very well.
The worrying thing about it was that I was in charge of 'quality control' (testing gravities, checking clarity, checking taste ;)) so if it was going to happen to anyone the odds of it being me were quite high. It's okay for the owner to mess up, something else for a lowly brewer!

For me it depends on my mood, a hot summers day I prefer a lager or a lighter ale, cold winter night a dark ale. Got one of the 20 belgian beer boxes from Beers of Europe a while ago and had fun going through those, not many I wasn't keen on.

Favourites though have to be:
Old Perculier, on draft, not from a bottle it's just not right from a bottle
Hobgoblin
Tsing Tao or Cobra for a lager
Most things from Badger except that awful ginger one they did recently
