Whats your Game of the Year so far?

I own Deus ex, Gears of war 4, Forza H3, BF1.

The winner goes to BF1. Why?

Because it offers something different and kind of based in reality wether accurate or not.

The atmosphere, audio and chaos in on another level. I am sick of killstreaks, scorestreaks and jump suits.

The other games are excellent too.

It's been a good year. :D

Out of the ones I've already played it's a toss up between Rise of the Tomb Raider and Doom,

There's a lot of games I haven't played yet or have only tinkered with like Mafia 3 and Homefront which we know aren't game of the year candidates and Deus Ex which I've yet to get. I still haven't played Witcher 3, MGS 5, GTA5, GOW, SOM, GOW4 or Just Cause 3 yet either, They're all installed & ready to play it's just I seem to spend too long on each one making getting through them all take years..

Single player would be Rise of The Tomb Raider. Loved it from start to finish, great game and looks amazing.

Multi-player would be Battlefield 1. Yes granted its early days but loving it so far and barely scratched the surface of what it has to offer.

1) Witcher: Blood and Wine

Masterpiece that finishes one of the greatest book and videogame sagas ever conceived. Took me 50 hours, so as far as I am concerned, it more than deserves to be counted. I will never forget these views and experiences.

2) Homefront: The Revolution

Second place goes to fully patched up Homefront: The Revolution. Total surprise, this game got destroyed in reviews, but on PC with patches, it is a great mix of FarCry 2, HL2 with a small dose of STALKER. Immensely atmospheric semi-open world shooter. Its half-destroyed, half-occupied Philadelphia is beautiful.

3) Shadow Warrior 2

Third place is Lo Wang's second adventure. Still as funny as in the first game, this one looks stunning while proving more ambitous in scope. The destruction on display is glorious. And I love the contrast between nature-filled levels and high-tech ones.

Still quite a few games I haven't played yet that I really want to(like Doom and Forza Horizon 3), and some coming out that I think will be contenders(Dishonored 2 especially), but so far it's Dark Souls 3. It may not be the most 'fresh' Dark Souls game, but I think it really is the best of the bunch.

I'm playing Battlefield 1 right now and only today got started with multiplayer and I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up near the top of the list as well. It's nuts.

Not sure yet. FH3 is quite fun but gets dull after a while. I don't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Plus, it's a bad port. Best racer this year? Easily. GOTY? Not sure.

Blood and Wine is an add-on. A very good one but W3 has a bit too many gameplay flaws and little inconsistencies IMO and drags too long so I was already pretty exhausted with it when starting B&W. At least the story is better than in the base game and I don't regret playing it.

Enjoyed Mankind Divided because I didn't have immense expectations.

Haven't played BF1 yet but I'm sure it's a legitimate contender.

Doom was fun.

I think I'll go against the current and say Hitman or Yakuza 0, with a nod to the latter for being more unique and my favourite series ever;p

EDIT: Yakuza 0 doesn't count as it was released in 2015 but it's coming to the West in January.
Yakuza 6 will be out in Japan on December 8 so I think it'll be my GOTY;p

I do expect Dishonored 2 to become number 2 for me this year. Arkane have yet to disappoint. I am not expecting anything much from Watch Dogs 2.

I spent 99% of my gaming time on CS:GO, but in terms of new releases, DOOM takes it for me :-)

edit: just finished my first run through on 'Hurt Me Plenty', it's pretty intense!!!

Completely forgot how much i loved dishonored, tempted to replay it before the new one! Not followed it at all so its arrival is a bit of a suprise! That art style/graphics probably still hold up well today

Make sure to play the expansions with Daud, apprently Dishonored 2 will heavily reference those as well.
