Whats your Game of the Year so far?

Make sure to play the expansions with Daud, apprently Dishonored 2 will heavily reference those as well.

maybe i will just buy and play these instead of replaying the main game, in the interest of time!

do they ease you in well or throw you in expecting you have just come fresh off the back of the main game?

They take place concurrently with the game, after Daud assasinates the Empress. Just buy them and play them - Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches - they are even better than the main game.

Yep, if you liked the main game definitely don't miss out on these!

In a poor year so far I would have to give it to Dark Souls 3(makes it sound like it isn't all that, but it is a great game). There really isn't anything else I would consider tbh. 2nd would be Salt and Sanctuary.

I am almost certain Dishonored 2 will be GOTY for me by a pretty wide margin.... And Civ VI will probably get a look in when I get round to playing it.

I expect my top 5 come the end of the year to be the following-

Dishonored 2
Dark Souls 3
Civ VI
Salt and Sanctuary
Deus Ex

Even though it has had many issues, my GOTY has to be the division.

I have had 1100 hours of epic fun out of it, and that covers all patches/DLC etc.

I always had a group to play with though so that is why it is "my" GOTY, and I look forward to the next patch on Tuesday :)

In hindsight don't have a GOTY this year, nothing has 'wowed' me, stuff coming out has been pretty generic, definitely nothing I would say was game of the year material.

I thought the division singleplayer up to level 30 was pretty good, after that it was just a joke. Do the same thing you've done already but hope for a better reward, not exactly worth £50 imo.

Its actually a bit depressing thinking about whats come out this year for me, so many hopes and dreams let down by shoddy gameplay.

Must be the first year I have not bought any games. Nothing has grabbed me at all :(

Still busy with elite, dirty bomb and the odd thing in the steam library.

Sad state of the gaming industry.

Another vote for Doom and Rise of the Tomb Raider, not sure which I enjoyed more. I only just started playing BF1 last night so need to wait and see how good it is.
