whats your job ?

I deal with lost/damaged items for Yodel. The vast majority of my time is spent looking for something that someone has put the wrong address on. You would be surprised how many people don't know their own postcode. I am basically the St. Anthony of Logistics ;)

Would much rather work in software development, have done since I was a kid. But with no degree (dropped out, was very ill), and no experience that's not going to happen any time soon.

I work for a joint project which includes the Universities of Oxford, Exeter and Jerusalem as well as the Vatican and British Museum amongst others.

Do you have a PhD in philology or somesuch? Just asking because it seems quite an interesting job! I'm from the literature side of academia myself (alas I lack formal education in classical languages...) but linguistics and philology is definitely an active interest.

To all the oil & gas people in Aberdeen, could you trust me the recruitment agencies/companies.

I'm gaining experience in my current job working in asset management, then I wish to move over into oil/gas.
