Some analysis from cleantechnca on U.K. BEV sales which are pretty stagnant. They are not impressed to say the least and also point to similar woes across Europe.
One of the more interesting claims they make is LFP cells are now under $50/kwh. Historically $100/kwh was the so called point where ICE and EVs would get price parity*.
So where are the cheap cars?
*the above is not quite apples to apples as the $50 is likely cell level and the $100 is pack level but the cells make up most of the cost of the pack.

May saw plugin EVs take 25.7% share of the UK auto market, up from 23.1% year on year. Most of the gain was from PHEVs, BEVs barely improved.
