When are you going fully electric?

the multicolour wheels on that black born - are there any multicoloured wheels that look good

Id3 will get adaptive monroe shocks in upcoming sport pack that should be part of born too -
but the weight compromise is still there (like formula e?) can you have your cakenimble fun and range too.

last week articles on new ice passat estate - also reminded that an id4 base estate verizzon, is still on the cards - MG estate is still alone in that segment.

Some are saying 0-60 is more like 7+ and that with no gear changes won't feel especially strong (esp. at that price!). HP/ton is quite low and I can't imagine it will be great at corners. Calling it a "hot hatch" is pushing it a bit.

There is another model coming with 30bhp more which will be a bit more nippier

How about you test drive one and find out once they are available? It's easy to sit and spout technical specs, and data all day long, but if you've yet to get behind the wheel of the thing and actually try it how can you every judge it, unless you live all your experiences vicariously. :)

I think those figures are for the 231PS anyway from stock 204.

The 204 is quoted as having 7.3s to 60. I would expect the 231PS to be faster?

They are still doing 4.3s fast hybrid cars, perhaps many more higher performance ev cars will come later? For now they are going for the market for people who want a nice looking car with decent range and "reasonable" performance?

I think the faster is with the mid range battery to take mass out. Im not sure the smaller cars can manage AWD like the larger ID4.

Two CUPRA Born variants are available; the first delivers 150PS (110kW) of power and 310Nm of torque, while there is also a 204PS (150kW)/310Nm version too.

But the dynamic delight doesn't end there CUPRA has gone beyond. The CUPRA Born will also offer an e-Boost1 performance pack that takes performance to another level, increasing output up to 231PS (170kW); the e-Boost1 will be available with two battery options: with a 77kWh battery delivering the 0-100km/h in 7 seconds and with a range of around 540km , and another with a 58kWh battery reducing the 0 to 50km/h in only 2.6s and the 0-100km/h to just 6.6 seconds and a range of around 420km.

Yikes, they were seriously lucky given the window screen got put through on the drivers side.

The lorry was obviously going far too quickly given the roll on the thing. Hope he had gap insurance!

Not yet reported if the driver will be facing action - should be IMO, insecure load and driving too quickly. He could have easily killed someone.

Do you even need gap insurance for a Tesla, the used book prices are almost like new. :p Oh and it is less than a year old so like 95% of all polices cover you new for old.

As for the driver, 100% prosecution no questions asked, that was going way faster than safe round that bend, license revoked as well.

What are you on about.

The lorry driver didn't hit them with his vehicle and he never left his lane or lost control of the vehicle.

There's a failure to secure the load he was carrying whatever that's worth.

So you think the driver was going the correct speed around that bend? Correct not being the speed limit, but a limit safe to do so given what you are driving. I am sure if it was you in the Tesla you'd just get out and shake the guys hand right, especially once you'd seen the video footage and shows it clearly wasn't he drivers fault at all.

All I'm seeing you say is that you don't understand that securing the load being carried is the drivers responsibility.

You went all in on prosecution and loss of licence for speed and ignored the obvious.
