When was the last time the gov did something in the interest of the people?

That wasn't the question, the question was when did they ever cut taxes, not was it effective or did it work. We could pick apart every supposed Tory tax cut too.

I'm happy to give the Torys the same stick as well, like what they did to temporarily cut VAT from 17.5% to 15%, then go and bloody upped to 20%. In the end that's a rise not a cut.

But they do always push to cut basic which has the biggest effect on me as other tax rises don't effect me apart from VAT, but we don't buy enough out of the exemptions to really effect us much
