I'm sure you're right......I just need to understand your point.

I sense the future is GTS shaped. I think it will give you the best of everything you want out of a car. 997 can be had for around £60k, but the 991 GTS is just another level above.
Not keen on the 997 one, wheels look wrong on all of them and they are to expensive for what they offer.
I'm 48 this year, but don't actually think it's an age thing, joking aside. I know friends younger than me who have had far nicer cars than me in a similar mind.
Did you look at the F-Type?
Would be on my list (if I had the money!).
Seems to be a good tourer but in V8 form also looks like it could be fun when you wanted, plus it sounds great.
Merc AMG GT, although I guess availability (and price?) would be problematic?
Not tempted by a classic or something a bit older, rawer or more characterful?
I'm really drawn to a nice S1 106 rallye for some reason![]()
How about something like an M3 CSL?
I would take a GTS Cayman over any M car
When I play fantasy sports car shopping even with a healthy budget I struggle to get excited about modern stuff to the point where I genuinely think my lottery win weekend car would be a 964 based classic recreation.
