No. They're just bots. They're not real. You're not real. Stop pretending to exist! Some people here really are French and even other nationalities!![]()

Yeah who would have thought we summon strangers from the internet and get in their car in the future.
But but you love me. You must love me.
Actually I was better when I was an admin, not a father and had more time and empathy to give to the forum and help people. I do miss that. Priorities change as life goes on though.
However I agree with the sentiment that was posted, some of us have been here ages and regardless of whether we agree or get on with people on the forums most normal people actually care about their fellow humans. Heck I've met hundreds of you over the years which is quite scary. Perhaps more normal now but 20 years ago it was incredibly odd meeting people from the internet!
I never knew this person but it really hit me when i found out that DannyW from here died in a car accidentA better question is, does anyone here really care about anyone else here. I have long suspected not.
25 years ago - internet is dangerous, be careful who you meet, they could be anyone.Yeah who would have thought we summon strangers from the internet and get in their car in the future.
I think it's the other way round, back then it was very common and loads of us did it. The last few times there have been general meets arranged, very few have turned up. So few that those of us who have been involved have decided it's not worth bothering any more.Perhaps more normal now but 20 years ago it was incredibly odd meeting people from the internet!
It was normal to us on the forum but for the general public it was quite weird, your perception is skewed as someone who was part of it. "it's ok we're from the internet" was a common phrase if you remember. Just like online dating was seen as a bit odd.I think it's the other way round, back then it was very common and loads of us did it. Which is a real shame, we've had some epic get togethers. I've pondered trying to bring back the Swansea Christmas Bash but I just don't think it'd work.

He's working on this years batch of tall tales to tell us
What an awful thing to say, if there's one person I believe on here it's him.
and @Lysander , how can you block him, he's so unargumentative?
It's a joke relax, his stories whether true or not are entertainingWhat an awful thing to say, if there's one person I believe on here it's him.

His postings were similar to a TV sitcom where an old guy hears a conversation and then drifts off into a day dream, giving excessive amounts of detail which aren't really relevant to the conversation.

... and she drove home via Hendon Way, turned left onto Hocroft Avenue then left onto Farm Avenue, then right onto Harman Drive, etc etcJean: Rotterdam's in Holland.... Holland has cheese... I remember a time when my daughter bought some cheese from Tesco...
