93% PS! Are some people voting ps just to put the boot into microsoft? I know a fair few xbox users and they are very loyal and not very technically aware, they will probably mostly buy the xbox again and they probably don't even know about the ongoing furore.

PS4 for me I preordered it from Tesco today. I miss the 90s console Magazine where you'd get Sonic cutting Mario in half with a chainsaw or Mario jumping on Sonics head.

cant remember what my initial vote was, but i wasn't going to get xbox one at all as don't like being told i will have to do this and can't do that etc. I'm now probably going to get xbox one as i prefer controller, live, and games, despite the fact i get free ps3 games as my brother works for them

I'm tempted by the PS4 but I just don't see enough exclusives on either console to sway me away from PC gaming. A lot of the shown games will eventually come out on PC too and that platform has provided me with superior experience thus far.
Voted undecided. A small other thing that annoys me are UK launch prices. Very unfair conversion rates to us.

For the PS4: $399 is about £309 inc. VAT, so that's indeed a whopping £40 conversion tax

I also didn't state people should buy them day one. I'm talking a whole generation here. Just that in my case, my preparedness has set me up for both.

If you factor in average wages and then compare it to prices it actually comes out a lot more even. In fact, in many cases, we get a better deal.

Calculating COLA (cost of living adjustments) is very subjective. It's very hard for the USA if you don't get pretty local with local vs federal taxs, sales taxs that change by the mile almost and are not included in the 399 shown for consoles.
Comes down to a total picture and total disposable income.
