I am tied. I have an Xbox 360 this gen but that doesn't get used anymore due to my PC. I would have naturally gone with the Xbox One for the fact that despite no difference on pre-owned/DRM (Which didn't affect me anyway) I much prefer the controller. I simply do not get on with dual shock, the analogue placement is just wrong in FPS for me. Another big issue being I like racing games Forza/GT. Now Forza 5 is a XBO launch title yet GT6 is PS3, so even if they ported to PS4 thats still a year? away going by PD history.

The main deciding factor is whether or not the XBO has a decent steering wheel/pedals combination available at launch? If so, that and Forza may sway me that way.

Basically I hate microsoft but they have the best games and these are 1-2 years into console life classics but are available day one.

If I wanted fps and other types of game like simulation and rpg I'd go ps4 but I have a good pc to play these on and the best jrpgs wont be out over here until 2015.

Driveclub will be much improved by launch, also Dead rising 3 is hardly a horror game. Want a real survival horror game then get a PS4:

Everything considered Xbox One as it stands has the games I'm most interested in and I'm one of those strange folk with kids that got a lot out of Kinect and look forward to an all improved version.

Quantum Break looks amazing and I loved Alan Wake. Sunset Overdrive looks quirky and fun and reminds me of Mirrors Edge. Dead Rising 1 was one of my games of the generation and 3 looks good so far. Also whilst not really a mp guy generally, every so often I get a game and go a bit mad with it: Chromehands for example and I'm quite interested in what I've seen of Titan Fall so far. As for Ryse; the developers have admitted they made a mistake with all the QTEs and it's not indicative of the game and I liked what I saw.

For the PS3, I've got Resistance 1 and 2 sat on my PS3 and whilst I do plan on playing them before the jump, the 15 mins of I have played didn't set me on fire. I played half of Killzone 1 and got bored. I did enjoy Heavy Rain a lot so I'm excited for The Dark Sorcerer though the fact it's a 'dark comedy' somewhat worries me. The Order: 1886 had me really excited until it turned into another alien shooter, yawn.

So a One at launch and Naughty Dog will determine when I get a PS4 to accompany it.

Looks like the yield issues are going to hurt microsoft badly. They have been told nationwide to stop accepting XB1 orders the small amount they are expecting has already gone, and PS4 has an unlimited supply available! Sony are going to have to churn these things out an an incredible rate!
