They haven't listened though, just running scared from the pre order numbers. Not changed my mind one bit, had more respect for them if they stuck to what they were saying and all the benefits promised.

I hear what you're saying, i'm under no sort of illusion that they would have changed their policy based on feedback alone, it's clearly also due to the pre order situation.

Regardless, however they came to that decision it's a welcome one.

funny how its taken less than a week for them to change from it being a built in feature they cant change as the machine is built for the digital age.

From what I gather you can now buy discs second hand from any source and use them just as if they were new. Is that right?

Yup, it'll work exactly how it does now on the Xbox 360 (and I think without things like Online Passes as well).

I think it was a good decision for Microsoft to make the U-Turn on the DRM issues. But I'm still much more likely to get the PS4 instead of the Xbox.

It's stuff like this that really winds me up... Do they think we're stupid?

Besides... since playing The Last of Us, I've had to use my Playstation 3 and fallen in love with it all over again

still going for a ps4 i will keep my 360 and ps3, but the Xbone just doesn't interest me, i might pick one up later with a price cut but at the moment its the ps4
